Acreage outside Edmonton, Alberta. Would love to offer multiple beds/ couches. Have a shop and a nice tire machine. Lots of tools, welder, pretty much anything you can think of for repairs. Also have a truck or trailer if rescue is needed. We do a fair amount of offroading in the alberta area and love hearing the stories of other travellers. Look forward to hearing from many of you. 780-399-9309, free to call day or night as i work shift work. T8A 0L6

Springfield, IL: Have a yard to pitch your tent, or a spare room with a bed. Shower. We have an overly friendly dog and 3 cats - they're pretty friendly too. Garage to keep your bike in with some room to tinker on it. I have some tools, but not a bunch. Right off I-55. I like to cook, so you are likely to get a meal too! Call ahead so I can be sure the beer and bourbon are in proper order. You can email too, though my reply will be delayed as I am not tethered to my email.

No space for a tent but I have room in my apartment for 1-2 people and a very comfortable pull-out futon in the living room to sleep on. WiFi, Netflix, laundry, hot shower, beer in the fridge, cigars in the humidor, and probably some good Polish food if my girlfriend is around. Secured underground parking/work area for bikes and basic hand tools available. Can go riding with you and show you some nice roads or we can hop in my car and go into town instead if you want a break. Have had great experiences using and hosting through TentSpace before. I live close to Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Can accommodate a few people if needed depending on my schedule. Sleep either in the living room on your own inflatable mattress or in the "guest bedroom" (single bed).

Most bikes should fit through my garden gate if you want to store them safely. High speed internet (500/500 mbit), close to highways and airport (5 minutes).

Send me a PM on this board :-)

If any of you are trucking or trailering your bikes up toward the PNW (Pacific Northwest)...or...The Great Pacific Northwest....with the idea of leaving your truck/trailer somewhere along the way, so you can ride your motorcycle up to Alaska..Yukon...etc, then you are all welcome to leave your truck/trailer rigs at my place.

I know that some folks ride the entire distance, from Flo-Re-Duh to Alaska, and I commend them for that. I ride too, and hesitate to trailer a bike of mine, unless going to Moab to ride trails for 10 days, so it makes sense to haul an off-road bike to Moab.

But some riders going to Alaska/Yukon want to save their tires, or have new dualsport tires, and don't want to waste them on 2000 miles of paved roads, just to get up to the Pacific Northwest.

You are get the idea of I posting....

My place is a very private, and extremely secure, farm/ranch in the foothills south of Olympia, WA. End of the private road, behind a locked electronic gate, and very likely your rig would be stored under cover, or in a building. I have several outbuildings, and space to pull thru a trailer rig, if that is what you have.

NO cost at all to you. No "camping" here either, just a secure place to store your truck/trailer rigs. In the old-growth trees, hidden from view, NO ONE can see your rigs here, and a shop to work on anything you might need fixing...whether it is your bike, your truck, your trailer, etc...I have the shop for it.

Just PM me, and I can give you specific details.

Ok you want to see the Grand Canyon? The big ditch? That big hole in the ground?
I live at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, I live in the park in a small historical home (built 1927), within walking distance of the El Tovar, Bright Angel and the rim.
I have room in my fenced yard to pitch a tent, possibly a guest bedroom if the dog approves of you......and if she doesn't your definitely in the yard and that could be a problem because I trust her judgement 100%.
I have some tools available and an air compressor, no lift or special tools.
No extended stays please (no more than 2-3 nights) as this is a crazy popular place and I need my personal time also.
Please PM me or call at least 2-3 days before you think you may show up.
I get canyonitis and need to get away so I'm not always around and I dont want you to show up and not be able to stay.
I can also tell you where some free primitive camping is just outside the park for longer stays.
505 603 6400 Arizona time zone and please no calls before 7 AM or after 7 PM

Austin, Tx. (78717) single bedroom condo-style apt with garage space for up to four bikes. I have two very comfortable Serta air beds I set up
in the living room for guests. Bathroom access from the living room so you don't have to go through my bedroom. Nice view of greenbelt
and pond with walking trail. It's pretty quiet here. Gated community.

I've hosted a number of well-known inmates over the years, some of them multiple times, including rtwpaul (with Jen and Kevin), Garry
Dymond (and Bonnie), and Sjoerd Bakker. Most of my touring is in Mexico so I can offer some useful input for those headed south.

I'm usually good for a meal (we can cook or go out) and some beers and maybe a story or two. Possibly turn a wheel on one of our fun roads.

PM me here or text 512.497.8588

Amazing riding, close to beaches, canyon twisties and mountain views. If available I love to give tours, they can be as long as 200+ miles, street and dirt.

I have space for a tent or two in the garden and a spare room with a bed too, hot shower and beer in the fridge. Bikes can be parked round the back of the house or in a garage half a mile away.

Scarborough is a little out of the way but worth checking out if you're in the area. My place is 15 min walk to the beach and 15min ride to the North York Moors National park. Lots of good riding locally and I can give you plenty of route tips if you're heading north.

Know a good local mechanic if needed.
