We are looking at a trip next year Europe to Cape Town, taking around 12 months. We will be flying from New Zealand to London and shipping the 990 there.

I want your thoughts on this.....

If we have a stop over on the way to Europe, say in a US city (obviously without the bike) would it be rude to contact someone on the Tent Space list for a tent spot / accommodation?

    Thoughts please

    Thanks

As someone who has hosted several people, I would say that we would still be happy to offer tent space to someone even if that person is not traveling with a motorcycle (--if I understand your question correctly).

    I wouldn't see a problem with it.

Do it. If it was my city I'd be happy to help. I enjoy hosting when I can, it fuels my plans
