    Hey Guys!
I will be spending the first week of March riding my DRZ from Tampa to Key West to Daytona, exploring and camping along the way.

Do you have any recommendations for cheap tenting in the Keys and along the way? I have a camping hammock, but I am prepared to use it as a bivy if there are no trees around. I like primitive, and inexpensiveness is a priority!

I'm all ears for any additional suggestions for cool places to see or good food to eat! :ear

    Thank you!

(Eric and I will be set up at BMW Motorcycles of Daytona for Bike Week. Stop by and say hey! Look for the MotoVermont tent!)

As always, start with the tent space thread. I've met some great people along the way:deal

If your schedule includes a night just east of Lake Okeechobee, spend the night at the campground at Dupuis Reserve. It's free, there are about 16 campsites around a pond, and I've never seen the place filled up (though I've seen it almost full a couple of times).

There's nothing to do at the campground except for what you make of it. Bring your own water, food, firewood, toilet paper. This is my favorite camping getaway, about 40 minutes from my home.

Dupuis is about five miles east of the lake and about 20 miles or so from Stuart.

Guys, thanks for the suggestions! Much appreciated! My plan is to plan minimally. I'll make sure to share any really interesting places I find.
