Terra-x lowering Kit for KTM bikes

    I've been looking at different avenues to lowering my KTM, since my inseam is on the shorter side of the population.

    Has anybody tried the Terra-x lowering Kit?
    Lower the back and front of your KTM exc or xc-w suspension by 32mm
    without any internal shock or fork modifications and without changing springs.
    This kit Lowers the bike without changing any of your suspension settings or springs, makes no permanent modifications to the bike, easy installation and removal, easy to return bike to standard height for sale/upgrade.
    Instant confidence, balanced setup, no detrimental handling effect.
    Kit contents:
    Shock tool and fittings for spacer install / removal (only 16mm spanner required to use)
    Shock spacer (ring 2 piece)
    Steering stem extender
    Steering top triple clamp spacer
    Internal fork hydraulic lock spacers
    Internal fork travel reducing spacers
    Fork preload spacers (assorted)

    This Kit Will Fit The Following Models:
    2005 – 2014 EXC Models (ex: 2014 250 and 300 2 strokes)
    US XC-W Models
    Husaberg 2005 – 2010
    Can be used to shorten 08+ shocks for use in earlier bikes.

    This kit will not fit:
    Six Day Models (Does fits shock)
    XC-f and SX-f models (Does fit shock)
    2014 250 and 300 EXC 2 strokes
    SMR Models

    you spent all the $$$ on the best handling enduro bike outta the box.....

    and now you're gonna mess it up?...

    fastest guy i ride w/is real short, and even has a high seat on a '06 450 XC.... when he gets off the bike, he does the one-legged thing w/his hip off the seat, no big deal.... and he's fukkin' fast....

    all the chassis dimensions on KTM's are set up by engineers, and are there for a reason.....

    I'm 5'8" with maybe a 29" inseam...I wish for the suspension and ground clearance back on every lowered bike I ride. :deal

    No paddling, and learn to flip off to the side when stopping.

    A friend put the Terra-X lowering bushing on his bike,yeah it lowered it.
    Then he checked it out and the tire will smack right into the fender when it bottoms.

    There's not the room. Getting used to tall bikes is the thing,they are all tall and lowering them seems to screw their handling up badly.

    I had EE lower my EXC300 1.5" and couldn't be happier. Feels/handles the same, is reversible and I can touch! Total cost to lower and rebuild my forks and shock was under $400.00

    The spacer only limits how far the shaft extends, no change on how far it compresses. Something else going on with your buddies bike.

    I made a spacer for a spare shock to lower my 520. I have plenty of tall bikes and wanted to lower this one for putting around. Its easily reversible so what is the harm?

    That kit seems like a fair deal given that you get a tool that allows you to install without messing with the nitrogen charge. I have a nitrogen tank so i just bled mine off to install the spacer and didn't need the special tool.

    Xbushing on the back, EE low/soft seat, slide the forks up 1/2~3/4".
