Hey Folks! Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving.

Life's been chaotic, but I'm now finally back from India/Nepal.

I have a special deal for inmates today:

A few of the light sets needed to be removed from their cardboard boxes (no lights affected, just the cardboard), so they'll be shipping in different containers, but in addition, lets do a cyber monday deal:

$160 shipped for a pair of the 3600 lumen lights.

Please send me a PM or email: george@teslaleds.com if you find the website isn't working for you!

My 3600 lights have moisture problems and I am now seeing some reflector pitting. I purchased the lights in July. Can I return for replacement?

    Hi Mwood,

send me a PM or email with pictures of the pitting? I haven't run into that problem, and I have my lights mounted pretty low on my forks. Either way, I'll see what I can do resolve your issues.

Regarding the moisture, (which won't affect the LEDs), the best thing to do is check to ensure the o-rings in all the housing joints are properly seated. Occasionally these need to be moved or tightened just a little bit to get them seated correctly.

    Hello everyone,

just a quick note that we're almost out of the 3600 lumen models.

I have dropped the price on www.TeslaLEDs.com to $160 a pair.

Please send me a PM if you're international, and we can work out shipping.

PM's also welcome for discounts on buying more than 1 set.

I haven't mounted the lights so far, hope I will find some time within the next days. If I ever need some spare parts can I contact you?

BTW my mate who purchased one pair of the ligths told me that one of his LEDs doesn't work. What to do?

Here you are. (reaction photos will follow later). I've put M5x30 inbus bolts instead of the M4 ones and even put some nice plastic covers over them:

You might want to rethink the covers on those lights. Heat is the number one issue with LED's and those with the proper drivers will reduce light output as heat increases. You will notice the rear of the light is a finned heat sink. That is there for a reason.

Your plastic might act like an insulator on the light and prevent it being able to shed heat while in use.

I did an experiment with one of these lights and filled the body with epoxy to make it more shock resistant.

It died (thought it might) and was due to the heat soak. Mind you this was no fault of the light I did something to it that went way beyond its design so the fault lies with me.

Yeah, you might want to de-insulate them...

    George,

I'm currently investigating some aux lights for my new GS, and was looking at your website. Any ETA on the wiring harness and dimmer switches?

How are the mounts off road? Is it possible to fit a stouter mount to them, or is it unnecessary? Would probably be purchasing and putting these on an SW-Motech light bar on an '11 GS.

ADV Monster sells similar lights and has a beefier mount you can buy separately, or you can mount them in any flat panel with a properly sized hole.

Another vendor does make thicker mounts, but I've had mine on the forks of my Vstrom for 2+ years now and haven't had an issue.

None of my customers has come back to me with mount issues. There is a hole in the flat portion which fits an M6 screw nicely.
