Worked with Pechorin75 and his text directions to come up with the following tracks.

    http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=26507400&postcount=1486

Three files with max 500 pts each, have loaded them successfully on my Garmin Montana.

Credit to intothenew for the Tet thread and due credit to pechorin75 for his work. I've made a best attempt to transcribe pechorin75's notes but would prefer the originals from intothenew and have them stand alone.

Looking forward to riding some or all of this in early May on the way to the Ironhorse.

Thanks, and if it helps, in Mapsource, you can filter a route to the maximum 500 points, or another number you'd like, so you can have one file instead of 3.

Thanks, the tracks are meant for those with unit limitations in addition to following the sections in the text, natural breakpoints in the journey if you will.

Attached is the full non-filtered TET_RWM track (14K+ pts).

Constructed in Garmin BaseCamp as mixed-travel routes using a combination of osm, topo and gMaps/gEarth then converted to tracks.

Big thanks. I'm working on a route East of I-81. I'm looking for a weekend this summer to ride and varify it then I am going to post it also. Together this should be close to a complete loop.

Ran the majority of this route on May 8th from north to south. There were a few detours from the original plan but this led to some great riding. Actual tracks to follow.

Squirrel Gap Rd had some fresh gravel.

Spent the night at Trout Pond.

Criders Rd to Cow Knob was closed at the intersection, detoured down Camp Run Rd along CR3 and up Rough Run Rd (some of the best riding on the trip). It looked 'recently' logged and had some great stream crossings.

Hall Spring Rd and a road that crosses Dice Run had gates, detoured along Long Run Rd.

No pics of this but the FS was doing controlled burns through much of the section north and south of Reddish Knob.

And out, not sure where this was but it was the only rain for the whole TET RWM trip.

And for something a little different... after meeting up with the group at Meadows of Dan next morning we headed down the BRP and did the Devil's Whip. Had a moment of target fixation and bounced off the barrier right in front of the photog. These Mosko Moto bags sure take a beating and the Beaver Tail has proved its worth!

Ended the TET RWM a bit short due to timing. The original planned track continues south from Cleburn Blvd along Little Creek Rd eventually ending 67 miles later in Marion. I unfortunately missed out on Walker and Nebo Mountain Rd's, maybe one day I'll get a chance to complete it.

Great info and exactly what I was needing to get my route planned from Pulaski VA up to Goshen Pass area. Thanks for the files. It makes learning basecamp a little easier. I've created some small loops in my area, but I've discovered I need to check multiple maps as I'm finding that some roads are private or even non-existent.

Meadows of Dan eh? That's my hometown. I'm guessing you stopped at Felecia's country store then ... seems to be the place to stop for riders. I guess I take it for granted but there always a ton of bikes to check out there any time the weather is nice.

just wondering about gas on route. I have a DR650 that hits reserve at 110-115 miles most rides.

One more question for those who know a bit more that I : Am I going to be able to use the single file or will I need to use the 3 pieces in my Garmin GPS 60csx
