I'm from Quebec, Canada and presently in Front Royal ready to attack the Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge for starters and then a bit of off road while in Tennessee.

Planning a trip from PA to ME.
I was on the TET, TETS, and Tellico connectors this weekend. A section of Chattahoochee River Road north of Helen is closed due to erosion of the down-slope cliff. You can still get to the Upper campsite from the north and the Lower campsite from the south.
Here's the closed section from gate to gate: http://goo.gl/maps/v7ZLI
Not sure if this is the place for this. I'm sure many unsub from this thread once they get the files. Is there a planning / coordination thread?
I received the pdf for TETv1 & the doc for TET-S r4. Wow - looks like you put in a huge amount of work! Thanks. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you've come up with.
Since I'm the one who built the TET-S, I thought I'd call the Ranger Station there to find out the status of the road.
As of today - July 10th 2013 at 1:15pm they have not been up in there yet to know how bad the damage is or how long it will take to fix it.
It it not expected to be a permanent closure.
It is a temporary closure but they could not give me an estimate of how long it will be closed.
It is easily bypassed by staying on 17/75 in either direction.
Got the doc!
Thanks for all your hard work!
Got them. Looking forward to checking out the routes.
