That one looks like it’s gonna be tough. Can tell it’s near/off caprock...something standing on top. May have to have a relleno at the El Camino to think about it.

A hint, the relleno at Alyins is much better.

A hint. Hop on your steed and Spur it down the road. If you're still saying to yourself, "where the Dickens is that?", your destiny lies west of Dockum creek.

    Yes,

    Yes it is....

I did some maintenance, cleaned and regreased all electrical connections inside the headlight bucket. Did a short ride out Bishop Hills, then the turn to Bushland and back. Then Cluade...through the canyon and back....all very nice.

Left around 2:30, rode to Schott’s cap east of Silverton, TX 70 to Turkey, Quitaque, Flomot, Floydada, and home just before sunset. 243 miles, nice afternoon.

Yeah, looked at daylight time left and was afraid it was lacking. Also, had a new rider along and did not want to push to hard. Might have been able to have gotten the tag if I knew location pretty close and didn’t have to hunt for it.

That really is a strange thing . It doesn’t show all that well in the pic, but it is sort of a caricature of a standing catfish with a chef’s hat, pointing toward the south with it’s left hand/fin. Curious as to what is for or means. Maybe ole Stanley Marsh has relatives in Dickens county.

Maybe there was a killer catfish restaurant down the road at one time?

I asked the guy who owns the place accross the road. He had no idea either. Your suggeastion makes sense. Not too far over to White River Lake. I seem to remember they had a Friday night fishfry at one of the places. Could have been salvaged and put in it’s new place of honor.....:hmmmmm

Gotta try to find a new tag tomorrow.....
