I plan to travel to Wichita Falls in about a month to deliver a bike I built for my best friend while he was deployed overseas. I will be loading up my bike as well so that I can explore parts of Texas while I am there visiting. He is new to the area so he doesn't have any input on good riding spots. What are some good routes? I will be capable of dirt roads so I don't mind getting off the asphalt to get to some good scenery!

I don't know that area so I have no suggestions. It'll be a bit cool next month and potentially windy. but it may be sunny and mild. You never really know. Hotels or camping? Or just day trips?

Probably just day trips. Possibly hotel if the destination requires and is worth the travel!

I was stationed in Wichita Falls back in the day. It can get NASTY cold in north Texas.

    Bring your best gear.
