Seriously, it would be easier to address this if we knew what specific things you were seeking advice about...

get an international driving license for one thing, the police and border people will require that.
are you buying a bike in thailand? you normally need a work permit or at least a long term visa to get one in your own name. and i doubt you can take a rental outside the country.

Appreciate the advice. We are renting the bikes in Bangkok. We can take them to neighboring countries for a fee. We wanted to ride to Vietnam but no can do.

Really just looking for suggestions on cool places to see and fun spots to hit in the cities. We already have Thailand fairly well figured out but it will be the first time for us in Cambodia and Laos.

i only know siam reap in cambo, lao is cool, go north all the way to china border if you have time, amazing roads there and totally undeveloped. luang prabang, van vien and luang namtar are all cool. but you better speak some thai or thai essan (lao).

i remember coming back to thailand from cambo was a nightmare wait at immigration. go in the thai line if you can get away with it, you'll save 2 hours.

Skip Laos, and only plan on riding until PP in Cambodia, not any further east.
(If you only have 1 week, that is.)
Go back to Thai via Sihanoukville & Koh Kong province.
