Damn you got that right! I just emailed my dealer to see if I could cancel the one I have on order.
Does the tank bag block anything? It really doesn't look any bigger than the newer BMW GS tank bags.

Cannot see shit
The question is, how tall are you?
If you are 5'11, then it means it's not blocking any line of sight to the instrument cluster. If, to the contrary,
you are 6'5, then it means the thing is too damn big...
I added my physical dimensions in the post above
Now if you can fix my work keyboard we'll be all set.
Couldn't resist mate. you were wide open
I'm a Brit; send your money to make and I'll see ya right, guv'nor!

That sucks, because you and I are the same height.

I see no reason to have something on the tank when I have no pillion pax.
I have one of the last Jesse very large top boxes and plan to transfer that to my next bike, presumably an Explorer in the next several months.
Panniers, huge top box in place of a passenger, tank bag, an electronics clipped onto the bars has been my standard mode for a decade and has worked well.

Just got an e-mail from my dealer. He's getting two, one is sold already, but they're not here yet. He didn't say when he would see them.
I'm a tad under 5'8" and the bag blocks my view of the ignition key. No interference with the instruments at all.
