Some of you might remember my first 2 builds I did ( as NortWestRider) titled the 12x12 build, because all I had was a 12’x12’ shed to work in.
Since then I built a 16’x24’ garage (75% done) so the new build will be in the garage.
    I spent the last 6 months deciding which bike to use,I have a 96 ZL600 and a 2016 KLR650.
I started to collect parts to use the ZL600 but then last week a deal came my way for a DMC subframe AND leading link fork for my KLR !!!,so the KLR it is !!.
The build will start in the next few weeks!!.

Hope you get a heater in there & set the metal parts under a tent over said heater.
    Sounds like an interesting build.

    Best of luck keeping warm

Man, that front end is cool. Sub'd.

I almost held on to my KLR with the thought of adding a sidecar, but ended up letting it go. I seriously miss that bike. The only bike I've ever sold and missed. So I'm watching with jealously :D

Very happy with my sidecar build, the KLR is handling it with ease. Sure you won't be unhappy. The LL front end does make a difference, especially off road. Cheers Barry Canberra Australia Sidecar 2.JPG

Well I may have overdone it a bit !!.
I’ve been down for a week with bronchitis and walking phenomena. So I thought it would be a good idea to go shovel 3,000lbs of gravel today !!
    NOT !!!!!!!

When a sidecar build thread starts with pouring concrete, it's bound to a good story. Carry on lad, carry on.
