If anyone knows about a '07-'08 650 like this for sale in the US, please let me know.
I've been trying to buy one for the last few years, and just can't find one.

You will have to "settle" for an 05' model. That's the latest model I've seen in 650 flavor. I think the 650's for some reason never got on the boat after 2005. Only 450's and 550's and no supermotos.

Trust me on this, I've looked...

Here's my newest berg. 05' 650 with an 06' tank and taillight. (my additions)

    I found it by googling this;

    Husaberg 650 site:craigslist.org

Here's one for sale just like mine, also with an 06 tank.

FYI... when I was shopping for a 'berg recently, I was scouring cl ads across the country. There was a mint 2006 FE650 TAGGED in Grand Junction CO for only $2699! It was a dealer and he said he knew the owner- only 60 hours, and the pics made it look almost perfect.
It was sold in like 2 days. From every ad I saw over a couple month's time, that looked to be the best deal by far (he should have been asking at least 4500 or so).

I managed to find a full exhaust system for my berg of fleabay for under 100 dollars. I also found some fork seals after copious amounts of internet surfing on a 312k connection. Not one single site i visited listed Bergs back far enough, but i did some forum reading and found that 1994 and back KTM's use the same forks. We'll see if that rings true when I get home and start working on the beast. Speaking of home, when I went back on R&R i got the pig running. The POS said he could not start the bike using the kick starter, but I did the dance and carefully manipulated the compression release and she fired up on real bad gas. Stunk to high heaven. Good news is I have a spare stator. The bad news is, POS snapped the kick starter bolt off in the shaft, I may be able to ez-out the remains. Neutral is hard to find after the bike is fired up, but it shifts well throughout the gear range. One last weird thing.. The bike has a toggle switch on the ignition, im gonna go back to a push button shutoff, the toggle looks like it would shit the bed if it got wet. The valves sounded pretty good, only got a light tick, but i'm gonna check them anyway. The right side number plate has melted a bit from a gaping hole in the muffler, but I can't find another one anywhere, looks like im gonna plastic weld it and re sticker. Damn thing is super dirty... hahaha.. But i think she will be looking good soon.

Ok, so the muffler was gutted, not so good. The exhaust on the bike is strange so I'm gonna change it to a twin system.

Not really for sale of course, unless someone made me a ridiculous offer. I love it though... runs like a very wet dream. Added a few mods, including cush hub by Rad Manufacturing.

Looking to maybe trade my '98 Tiger for a 2003'Berg 501 if it works out. It looks like a sweet machine. I cant seem to find much info other than the basic spec sheets. If this flies what am i getting into?

My basic reason for trading or changing bikes is that the Tiger is to big for what I want to do. so helpa brother out with a little info.

    Seems like these Bergs have a following.........for a reason i suspect:freaky

There are a couple brand new (supposedly) 2005 FC's (450 and 550) for sale over at Husaberg.org.
I have no connection with the seller... I'm just shocked when I see older bikes for sale that are unused. I never see any when I'm in the market for a bike.

Anyone have a large (Clarke) tank they want to sell? I'm dreaming/planning a long ride later in the year, and I'd love to do it on the 'berg (except for the oil changes).
But, if I don't find a big tank, this isn't going to work.

$400 seems like a fair price, considering you need a rebuild kit for the sidestand and all.

It looks neglected, like in not ever ridden. Nice find!

Can you rebuild it and make it a 501? Can surely justify a rebuild with what you have in it yeknow? Or part it out and try your luck again..
