Ok you asked for it.. first had a 82 KDX200 way back(no pics) later i got a Gas Gas EC200(no pics) with the Mazzochi conventional forks which i really loved. [IMG]
Later on I bought the newer model you see above. I picked it up in a pretty sorry state and rebuilt it, I later found out it had been ordered by a riding buddy about 5 years before with a few trick bits, and set up by Dougie Lampkin's father. Great bike!!
After that I moved to KTM and my first was an autolube 200EXC fantastic for tight woods and trail riding in the north of england, so quiet compared with all my buddies on YZF426 and Husabergs.[IMG]
Later I got to know my local KTM dealer (as You do!) Mark Jackson of Eurotec KTM and bought his ex racebike from him(no pics again) lovely guy he only rode it in 5 races and put on the standard wheels, exhaust and left alot of trick bits on it. Still my favorite bike i've ever owned!![IMG]
Today I live and ride in China and for offroad riding I ride Chinese made 223cc dirt bikes. The latest one is quite good but a bit underpowered, but at 1000 British pounds new! I can't really complain.
    Keep up the good work.[IMG]

BTW that blue KTM is pretty and the Penton is gorgeous.

Ive just picked up my 4th KTM200,its a cherry 2009 XC-W,dang its good to be back on the 200 again,Ive been riding an older 300 but the 200 is lighter on it's feet and just FUN to ride somehow! I usually put some extra flywheel on them,Gnarly pipe, jetting, little lower gearing for the trials like trails around here.
I also just tried out an 05 YZ125 on some tight trail..........way better then I thought it would be,could go fast on such a thing with little effort.

My 2009 KTM 200 XCW, lots of aftermarket goodies. I use a trials tire on it now (MT43).

Hello. I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this question, especially since I do not consider a 1997 1/2 year bike old school. However, I am having a difficult time finding a low seat for my KTM 200 XC LE (Jack Piner). Anybody have any leads/ideas? I understand that the 1997 1/2 falls into the 1998 year for parts/accessories. The bike is kickstart only and I really need to lower the seat about one inch. Thanks! SR

Nice! Im running a Dunlop trials tire on my 09 200XCW,Im even giving the Tubliss settup a try and running 5psi. So far so good, hooks up and goes with minimal wheelspin/trail damage.
Ive also got a chainsaw mount on the front for building and fixing trails this spring, weve actually worked most of the winter on some lower trails were opening up.

I used to race a 72 Bultaco 200,3 years on it with no problems,it did seem like a nice size for shorttrack racing and there were lots of them back then.

Might as well join the party with my current 200:

And the old XT200 from back in the day. Not a two stroke but it thought it was one after being WAY overbored for a higher compression XS400 piston plus a pipe and carb :

I painted a couple things, re-did the number plate backgrounds and a fresh motor. Other than that just needed a good cleaning. Still has original mirrors and signals.

Anyone have a picture of what the '200' decals should look like on the side panels?
