Actually it is, Crosby is one of the few I can think of who is a bigger one than PK so skill VS bitch-ness the ratio seems about right.

Kesler was quite a prima donna last night. Between him and Burrows, they could field a competitive soccer or diving team.

You have yet to present any evidence that says otherwise. We will wait with anticipation for you to present a case claiming Crosby isn't a bitch. How many times can you use one of the smile faces?:norton:D:1drink:huh:rofl:evil:puke1:cry:ear:clap:freaky:deal:eek1:lol3:wink: seems pretty easy.

Some crazy games last night. San Jose surprised me, they played a much more coherent team game than I remember from earlier in the year.

Sucks to be Holtby and get zero goal-scoring support.

I didn't stay up for the Chi/Phx game but it looks like it was really tight as well.

Love this two weeks of first-round play. :lurk

    Amen, brother.

I have always been a big fan of Thornton and Marleau. I think this Couture fellow and Pavelski are very good, too.

But every single f'ing year they shit the bed in the playoffs. So much so that I didn't even pick them in my bracket.

I've sort of given up on them after these years of really, truly thinking they could win the Cup.

Last night they played like a real, honest to god NHL playoff team with a purpose and the desire.

Sometimes it just feels like they forgot how to move their legs.

    Thoughts so far tonight:

Radulov has sick, sick hands. Stickhandle in a phone booth type shit. It is really impressive.

PIT/PHI is a mess of a series. No defense, stupid penalties, crazy wide open hockey. Fun stuff, unless you are prone to acid reflux.

    Wide open is good.
If I want boring and defense I'll watch soccer. Not.

Redwings playing like the Redwings tonight. :clap

Dude, I'm not a Red Wings fan, but they should feel pretty lucky getting out of that game with a win. Preds had a metric shit-tonne of scoring chances, Jimmy Howard won that game for DET. Didn't look to me like the way they'd like to play.

And :rofl at Cindy and the Pens getting beat 8-5 in their own barn to go down 0-2 in the series. What a game by Coutourier and Giroux! Loved it when Sid set a pick and looked at the ref like 'what? Me? interference? :baby'. What a putz.

Pittsburgh is trying to out hit the Flyers. He wanted his team to 'come out hitting.' Well, guess what? That's not their game. There aren't many teams that can match the Flyers hit for hit, and trying to out hit them is folly. It shows as the game goes progresses. They talked about the Pens 'forgetting how to play team defense' in the the later stages of the game. No duh-- they spent themselves trying to run every Flyer who touched a puck. At the end of the game they had three men watching the shooter and left Coutourier (I think) completely along behind them for the rebound.

I feel good about the series but I wonder how my Flyers will do at home with all the emotion.

    P.S.

    Redwings suck.

Buncha Euro cheap shot artists, wearing a suit of armour who act like their gloves are bolted on.

And Brad Stuart is probably going to be a good defensemen, but he isn't right now. AT ALL.

Everyone say Shea Weber drive Zetterberg's head into the boards. Only CBS showed the wicked slash Zetterberg delivered to his leg, just above the knee pad/below the breezers. That sort of hog anus deserves a fight. Of course, you couldn't get Zetterberg to fight if own mother begged him.
