Bruins drafted PK Subban's brother Malcolm. Holy hell in a hand basket.

    A Goalie too....

You did not think Neely would allow that other kid on his team did you?

Only to fuck with Ulf. I would have sent the kid to some Siberian team. The real question is will this kid get a diving call against him while being a goalie? Also do we think this choice had anything to do with the racist claims?

I don't think it is the latter. The kids numbers do not look too bad from what I have just read. I think they are preparing for the post TT era and are not Sure Rask is tough enough, injury wise, for a complete season. This kid is a bull it looks like, very durable looking.

Wild got Dumba, pretty happy about that actually. Was afraid they'd go soft and Finnish again. :lol3

That Brodin and Dumba will have legitimate chances to make the NHL roster tells you just how abysmal our back end is. :bluduh

I decided to post this up in here. I am not sure if I am the only one who plays the NHL games on Xbox 360/PS3, but they announced a pretty cool online GM game mode for the NHL 13 game which comes out in September. If you don't want to read the article I will sum it up for you. We could make an online league where we would be the GM of our respected teams. Any team can have more then one person in charge of it. For example, if 2-3 people want to be involved with the Bruins, one would be the GM, another would be a coach, and so on. It looks pretty cool and since all of us seem to think we would be good GMs, I thought it would be cool if we could get an ADV group set up and test our skills.

Philly has lost their god damn mind. They traded Van Riemsdyk for Schenn from Toronto.

    Straight up? :huh

I understand the organizational need (PHI is thin at D) but that seems like a pretty good deal for TO...

I've been watching Schenn from the start, and I'm sad to see him go. He's going to do well with Philly, and Burke got one hell of a return for him. JVR really helps us out up front, and we've got D-men up the ol' wazoo. Can't wait to see how JVR fits into the lineup.

You should protest. Put a wanted ad on Craigslist for slutty girls to attend hockey game, make outfits, and take them to the game.

    Oates to coach the Caps.

What does that say about Ovie, Semin, Backstrom - going to run him out of town too?

What it says to them, is that there is a new sheriff in town.

Oates is no dummy. I fully expect him to win with the S.O.B.s.
If not, their jobs in DC are on the line, not Oates'.

Oates was also inducted into the hall of fame today. About fucking time. Most underrated playmaker of all time. I am still pissed the bruins haven't retired his number yet.

    Parise / Suter watch continues.

MN and DET went to Madison to meet with Suter.

Parise is home in MN for the 4th.

    One? Both?
