It's a Canadian tradition ... the countdown is on to Leafs Elimination Day.

I made a post somewhere, but for the life of me, can't remember what I predicted. Usually, it's a "when they fall out of the top eight" day, followed by the official elimination day prediction.

Since I can't really remember what I predicted, I'll go with somewhere in mid-April, maybe the 12th as the day they're done for. I know, that's pushing it kinda close, but I have faith in them ...

The only saving grace today is we had a big bottle of Bushmills to wash away that loss.

We had Smithwicks and Bailey's. Could've used something stronger... On to the Jets.

Too bad too, Miller started out being a one man team. Still can't believe the coaching change in a lockout year.........

The only way this trade is worth it is if the Pens win the cup. They've thrown a huge number of picks and prospects at Iginla and Morrow. I tend to hope they fail. :lol3

That happens ala the Yankees a few years ago. All those super stars and they just could not get along and win.

Almost all of those guys are Canadian, they'll get along....

The Pens didn't give up much if anything to get him... Be nice to see Iggy hoist the cup after Sid hands it to him. Then i'd like to see Iggy go back to Calgary where he belongs to finish his career, but they could make a few runs at a cup with this group.

Crazy though getting Morrow, Murray, and Iginla this week, and only gave up a few no-names and never-will-be's to get them. All the teams in the east, especially the gm's, gotta be shaking their heads.

The Pens still have to prove they can win with all this new talent. Doesn't mean squat if they have a first round exit... The Bruins will be fine, and win the East, when it's all said and done.

Down by 8 points, 3 games in hand on the Pens.
Pens beat the Bruins twice (in a week) during this 14 game streak.
I like your team loyalty but Boston winning the East will be tough with only 13 games left for the Pens.
Pittsburgh is on a serious roll.
