I DVR'd the game, hoping to watch a decisive Boston victory, but it sounds like I'll just make more space on the DVR. Maybe tomorrow's game will be worth watching...

Werd. They kicked ass and took names. Rask is proving to be a very able number one goalie. I hope Bergy can get back soon, because they will be tough when he gets back at Center. Kelly is due back any day too... Go B's:clap

Such a mixed bag with the Wild. As always in Minnesota, we're a glass half empty set of people. You could take a 1-0 loss to Chicago, arguably the best and deepest team in the league, as a decent loss. But at home, when your worst puck-handling d-man makes a cross-ice pass between the circles to Marian Hossa, you don't have much of a chance to win.

Heater is done for the season + playoffs. Cullen isn't back yet - maybe thurs or sun, or they hold them out til next week, but they can't really afford to slip any further down the standings. The front office has to be pretty happy to have Pominville on the squad with Heater's playoff experience out of the mix.

They need Zucker from the AHL on the second line - Bouchard just doesn't have the tenacity. That would make the lines:

    Parise-Koivu-Pominville
    Zucker-Granlund-Setoguchi
    Clutterbuck-Brodziak-Coyle
    Rupp-Kenopka-Mitchell

That second line is a metric fuck tonne better with Cullen at center and Granlund back in Houston. Coyle used to play on the top line, but I can't see moving Pominville down, and he adds some finishing touch to the checking line, makes them better on the O-zone.

No shit. I was swearing at the tv, thinking they were going to blow it and go to OT. They are turning too many games into nailbiters! I hope Marchand isn't out too long...

This wild team will not make the playoffs. They are small, tentative, and weak. Worst game I've ever seen live. ( 0-2 loss at home).

The Sabres were out shot 40 something to 14.

I'm just going to pretend they are still on strike.

Was Pominville this small in Buffalo or did contents settle during transit? :ear

I know StL is a bigger team, but the Wild forwards looked like the squirt team from the intermission scrimmage slipped on pro sweaters.

Props to StL, they played a perfect road game, got a couple bounces and were tenacious in their own zone. Suter getting hurt in the 2nd and not playing the 3rd really didn't help MN's cause.

At the end of the game though, having been shut out in three of four and back to back against CHI and STL, you just get the feeling this team isn't there yet. By a long shot.

Which is the only shot they get pirouetting like little girls at the blue line. :bluduh

    Glad he's gone.

The AHL game I went to was very exciting....watching the B's not so much. Although, I overall I think they played better than in some recent games.

Sad day in beantown. One of my players had a parent running and we did not hear from him until about an hour ago. Fortunately, they got out of the cell lockdown zone and they are all OK. Very glad for that. Bruin's did the right thing and quickly too.....

Brings back memories of my trip to the old country in the 80's and having one of those go off. Sobering...to say the least.

If you saw anything 800-494-tips is the number to call.

NBC Sports is milking this for all its worth. You know they got all giddy when they discovered they had the rights to the next Bruins game.
