I'm in! Slowred and I have practice pushing bikes up waterfalls from the ride up Bull Run!
Julio for cat herder!
Oh man, can I come along?
If I can get someone to push my bike, I will be a happy camper. Just don't push it over the edge.
I bet RussL still thinks about the ride out..... Maybe nightmares....
I am in..
This reminds me of....
ME when I first started riding with you guys. I showed up on a brand new KLR with only about half the safety gear I should have had on. Thing was, I truly did not know any better and I thought that what I had on was pretty safe. It wasn't until I saw how over dressed you guys rode that I realized how under dressed I rode.
You guys sure gave me hell for that and you didn't let up until I finally went out and bought everything I REALLY needed.
Luckily I did not have to learn the hard way.
This is what happens WITH the best boots and knee braces that money can buy!!
I broke my Tibia and Fibula and tore my rotater cuff so bad I had to have cadaver parts installed, 3 operations, one plate with 9 screws, a 16 inch long Titainum rod, and 9 days in the hospital.
The shoulder was the hardest to get over, still only have about 75% use of it, but Praise God it is doing better all the time!
I just can't say enough about ATGATT!! it saved my life on this one. My EVS Web knee brace was totaled out as well as my Klim helmet.
Dress for the Crash, not the ride!!
So, let's ride!!
I'm out. I have bull elk tag for that weekend. I seem to miss this one every year.
Y'all ride safe and have fun.
Try to not turn Honda Hill into a superfund site.
Well the DR does have this sticker on it.
I'm always casually dressed or underdressed... When I dress for what may happen :eek1 I can't get my leg over the o'l xr4 ! ! ! May have to go back to them safe 4x4 Quads.
Is it me or does this ride get bigger every year?
Gotta love the coke ovens, I'm in, and I sure do like those Bonus Routes.
Pansy for sure, but not a slow Pansy.
I'm open to looking at more bonus loops if you guys know of something. Right now I'm thinking counter clockwise including the bonus hills & the wash leading to Ajax. I believe there will be a few that will want to finish the route out battle axe & some that will want to go back & tackle the bigger obstacles the other way.
This is looking like a very fast group...
i'M OUT, I WANNA BE IN, BUT, DUE TO MY HIGH INTELEGENTS:huh LEVEL, WILL BE SPENDING MY TIME IN BOOTIFAL YUMA AT THE INLAWS WITH MY LOVELY BRIDE. See, thats how smart I am:eek1
Bless your heart
I'm in for some bonus loop routes! :eek1
I'll probably bring the ZOOK.
When Kevin says he's in for bonus loops, don't worry about his abilities! He's good for it!
The Westside looks to be well represented this year, color me in for the rocky carnage please. Up front disclaimer, I will be looking to avoid all fast , cold and deep water crossings this time out.
Probably be on the XR600. I may go with the CR500 if I can get it road legal and distance capable.
No good. You have to make a water crossing attempt. That's just part of the ride now!
