That is the 6KM warning wall ... You can see the large green area clearly from here that was seen from a distance in the other shots ...

This is as close as we could get to the volcano as the lahar was getting very hard to ride in and it was getting dark ...

You mean it moves and they stand still..... Or they just walk on it like a path?

I can tell ya, afer 4 yrs living here, the Philippines is a dirt bike riding mecca ...

No dust, no unexplodedd ordnance as compared to neighboring countries...

Food, gas, water all over the providences, and the people are friendly and happy to see most foreigners...

Nice to see a Phil RR.
    Great photos.
Just finished a ride myself last week, from Cavite, Luzon, down to Mindoro Island and the full length of the Mindoro east coast.
Great riding and friendly people, especially on Mindoro.
Will go back to Mindoro soon again for more riding.

Had to nuke that last post as did not notice it was directed at you instead of me ..

I'd like to see Mindoro myself someday but on this ride, we just ran out of time ... Seems the people are very similar every where I go here. That takes a big off because you know that every island is full of friendly people will be there to help you along the way ...

My computer is acting all whack so my replies will be a little slow till I figure out what is happening with it ...

Here's a road sign pointing the way to Manila ... Not a lot of signs along the way so if you are traveling here, be ready for this ..

I have to admit, I've forgotten how to make my large pics fit here on this site, so its another obstacle needed to overcome.. :)

We had some friends in Makita so we stopped over ... Makita is by far the most modern city I've encountered in the Philippines... Modern is the word here ... This was a short stay :)

I can't say enough good things about this trail stop ... It was just too cool being there. We slept out side in the huts you see there ...

We arrived late at night with our friends from Makita and the people at the trail stop just came out and started partying with us and made us feel right at home...

These guys meet here about every week I think and do a trail ride ... If in the area, stop by. I'd like to spend about a month there in the future :)
