Truth be told, I never considered that...but will in the future as I accumulate more.

I experienced this after installing the TT explore hp. Thought things were great till I rode friends' 690r and 1190. I Then put in some progressive springs up front. Still left wanting.
Purchased a set of 2010 yz450f SSS forks on Monday...

Thinking about buying some Forma Low Adventure boots (in black) for my daily 'all weather' commute....
Already have Forma High Adventure boots and after @8,000kms on them, I like 'em. :thumb But they are a bit too 'storm-trooper' for daily use. (knee high on me!)

Anyone seen any deals anywhere that I could get in Oz?
Every place I look is the same USD$229 or AUD$299, which is the same $$ after currency conversion.
Are Forma boots like Engel fridges, they are the 'top of the pack', so no one discounts them? :scratch

    Fun!
We're actually planning to ride from Kristiansand to (north) via as much gravel and small/ scenic roads as possible to connect with the TET in Finnmark. Will have a buddy with me the first week, but after that I'm probably solo. Planning on the Swedish TET down again.

Do you need it? Sure one isn't the remote preload adjuster?

When I bought my Öhlins, the guy building it said that a remote reservoir wasn't necessary unless I was going to ride actual MX tracks. Regular gravel, trails or other bad corroded roads wouldn't be enough to justify a reservoir.

No drama fitting Happt Trail boxes. This is the 4th bike I’ve had them on...just need to seal some holes in the back from previous applications.

Hey does anyone state side have a set of supermoto rims? I wanted to get a more highway/street set of rims with sprocket and brakes installed. Also if I do the conversion is there a brake remounting kit that needs to be installed or an adapter plate? Does anyone have a good option for this or know a commonly used conversion for a 2001 Dakar? I could really use some help on this, also most likely already discussed :) . So my apologies if it has been but mostly looking to acquire a set.

Okay so one more problem I have been running into. I have a 2001 Dakar (maybe obvious by the screen name) but I have Touratech bags for it and also a back rack. When I combine the back luggage rack with the mount that goes over two exhaust pipes I cannot for the life of me get the bolt in the picture to line up. This is a used bike and have no idea if this Touratech mount is correct but if anyone has encountered this or had similar problems I would appreciate any help I can get! The bottom area of the bracket that goes over exhaust is angled and I’ve tried both directions, do I need to remove exhaust to install or any tricks? Thanks everyone, Zach.

That's where I got my X-Lite 551 helmet from, they seem OK.
No VAT....Europe, UK, etc, to Australia, no VAT payable on exports. It's like getting 19% discount! :D And at this end, only orders over $2000(?) or is it $1000 now?), anyway, no 10% GST or duty payable here when they land either.

But with shipping, works out to $292.00. For $7 bucks, I'm buying locally @ AUD $299 and getting all the 'so-called' benefits of having a local shop with local warranty (or all the good that did me on my non-waterproof Gaerne Adventures, and my Nolan Helmet liner that came apart 30 days after buying it, then took 13 months to get a refund!

We haven't actually decided yet, but probably no earlier than late June because of snow in the mountains. Haven't drawn up the route either. Plan is to try to create a Norwegian GPS track for the TET so people can ride down through Norway and ferry across to Denmark and continue from there as an alternative route. If it gels I'll submit it to the TET founders, if not I'll just log it as another trip. I have no interest in becoming a linesman though, haha.

My buddy in Haugesund has gotten a week off for this trip (from the wife and kids), but I don't know when he can take out some vacation. Reckon we'll make it to about the middle before Yngve has to return. In 2009 we rode Oslo-Lindesnes-Nordkapp and in the first 5 days we made it to Verdal.

Two people to Morocco or the TET?

I haven't seen those before, but it looks like you have it the correct side up and down in your pic when comparing the cans to the bolts on this pic below that I googled to see what it looks liek from behind with the stock exhaust.
Not sure you'll be able to fit the cans afterwards since they also connect to each other, but you can certainly loosen them so you can manipulate then a little.
You might also have to manipulate the luggage rack to get that to fit. Aftermarket parts are often a little fiddly.
Are they for a specific set of panniers?
Touratech installation manuals are often available online

    Hey guys ~
I need to pick up some bar risers for my 01 Dakar in the USA market. Like maybe 20+ up to 30mm. Non ABS bike so 25mm should be no issue with cables.
Anybody ever buy SW MOTECHs? Or maybe have a recommended manufacturer? I'll seek quality for this part. Thanks.
