Thanks man! If you ever make it back this make sure to stop in and say hi! My little brother is Flying Air Attack out of Redmond, OR this summer. I'm sure he'll hit you up to talk fire stuff when he reads this. Thanks again for the well wishes.

Hey Bluebone! Glad you're enjoying the story so far. Unfortunately, that Alaska trip has been put on hold for a bit. And I'm missing out on Baja in a month with my Dad and bro. That sucks, but the time was now to start this little business venture. One of those "Fuck it, PUNCH IT!!!" moments in life (alluding towards past fuck it, punch it moments on the bike). My riding and writing will suffer greatly the next two years. But, I sincerely hope making the sacrifice now to get this company off the ground, will pay dividends for me in the future. Both in personal success and happiness, as well as the ability to take more time off once it becomes self sustaining.

I am most happy to hear that you are enjoying the thread. I had a lot of fun riding those miles. Keep reading!

Life has been insane the past few weeks. So much so that I've asked my bro to write the report from our road trip. There's nothing exciting to tell on my end about the legs to Boise and back without my brother an 'leenpockets. I'll just have one little section to write when we were separated for a few hours, but that's all I can find time for. He'll be using a combination of my photographs and his.

I at least wanted to say hi tonight and things are going really well right now.

I "liked" your page. I tried just searching for it and couldn't find it unless I used the above link. Weird.

This is hands down the best moto promo I've ever watched. Words cannot describe how awesome this is. A half hour of amazing cinematography, killer hopped up Tigers, and two outstanding riders. Seriously, seriously watch this video.

Been riding Hobbes around the city and being a hooligan about it. Takin him with me to all the business appointments. Things are moving right along.

    SERIOUSLY WATCH THIS VIDEO

    That is all for now....

Skid plate and paint costs $10k? They don't even have crash bars!

Awesome video though, they're drift battle video is awesome too. The Icon gear is lame though. The sponsored look probably won't sell well with the ADV crowd unless you're a REALLY big fan of the Dakar Rally IMO

Yeah all I saw was a skidplate, and then figure exhaust and suspension work. So maybe what, $3-4k not counting the paint job?

I agree on the gear. I'm not a fan of Icon anyway. I have a pair of their boots (my first pair) and while comfy, the quality is HORRIBLE. They look like complete crap after only a few months of use, so I don't even wear them anymore. Emails to the factory about it went unanswered.

Likewise, Alpinestars is kinda on my sh-- list too. They did okay when they replaced some street boots that turned out to not be waterproof, but they ignored me when I told them my Tech 2's started coming apart after a creek crossing. And now the street boots look almost as bad as the Icons, all from the shift lever. Until I can replace them with some street Sidis, I'm stuck with them. For adventure touring though, I just got a set of Sidi Adventure Rain boots, which rock.

They do have NOS though and I'm guessing that takes some bucks.... And I NEED that skid plate! Some custom graphics would be nice too.

Oh yeah, and a paddle tire. And an ice tire. And get paid to do it. That's not too much to ask is it?

We went for a ride last weekend, Tyson and I have been too busy preparing for the grand opening of The Backcountry Pursuit tomorrow to write however. I will say that riding a 5 inch wide strip of single track mud surrounded by snow and cut into the side of a mountain is...exhilarating!

    Hi all!
The business is up and running! I've actually had some time to do some riding the past two Mondays. That means I have three ride reports to catch up on. Life is getting back to normal and one of your favorite threads will be back in full swing soon! Things are great and the Tiger has been getting a few miles. Talk to ya soon! This thread will not die! Promise.

Awesome! I have to live vicariously through you, at least until I can get my own 800XC. :)
