Quick question(s) guys: do you take a toll roll with you when going out on the track? If yes, what brand? Normally, containing which tools?

I'm looking to buy one from Kriega, but boy are they expensive!!! :eek1

Looking forward to reading your comments.

    Thanks.

    Cheers and happy 2013

Sounds like the engine may have been submerged in water to cause that conrod to bend. The only good deal your going to find are 2nd hand parts for sale on places such as ebay. In europe (not sure where you are) it's common to see cylinders and heads for sale but pistons and conrods not so much.

Buying new conrods don't come cheap either.

Another option is to buy a whole used engine from a wrecked bike which occasionally come up on ebay.

On ebay in the UK at the minute theres a bloke selling a bros/revere with spares inc a RD04 engine. He says in the ad he may split. Search africa twin in bikes, you cant miss it.

Hi! I have same problem last summer with my 92 RD 04. Caused by faulty carburettor, fuel leaks to cylinder and when you push the starter button...bang!

Thanks for re-ply, but i think that the reason was the bike ran whit to fukier oil and the lubrication has poor...???but in that case should the conrod the first thin to damage?
