    thank you much obliged
the airbox is 100% done front suspension wheels brakes 100%
rear shocks easy peasy i am custom building a pair of fox factory shocks for it.and now is good timing cause i am, doing a -pair for a customer his are for a 76PE250 with similarv wheel travel
the valving will be close and the fox factory are easy revalve
i need to calculate my final drive ratio
i am spinning the output 10% faster than a stock cb/cl/sl
so i need lower gearing higher numerically
in will do the math but in my head 1 tooth lower in front may do it
gas tank is 100% fitted needs paint but i wont let that stop me from riding
    seat pan done
exhaust 100% done foot controls and pegs 100%done
seat cushioning will not take much to get it in a condition the upholsterer can deal without racking up hours
seat covers i did when i was a kid on moms machine
\but it is a something i now leave to the pros.

you may notice the brass color under the heads of the intake boot flanges
well i needed wanted the bike narrow and carbs were just a bit to wide set to fit the airbox the bell mouths of velo stacks were contacting airbox sidewalls
i knew i could move them back so i chucked up those phenolic dt1 carb insulators chucked em up in lathe wobbly, precisely wobbly, to face off with an angle to cant carbs inward
each one got oring grooved head side the rubber spigot flanges are oringed as well
the brass is home made spherical alighnment washers to address the angle
important so i can maintain the port insulater juction as a smooth transition which i recently finished stuffed intake ports full of wadding and blended any small steps with diegrinder see, without self compensating spherical washers bolt heads plant on an angle not right wants to shove things sideways:deal

i have been wanting to route a loud handle cable thru steering stem for yeaRS
it was a perfect app on thev twin
inner wire is what incall waterfall cable, sourced from nos oem honda cables i had
nylon lined all the way includin carby top elbows
the single top cable is one of those barnett all plastic housing
heated and formed around a gunnar gasser whirlpull throttle spool/pulley where it exits bottom of stem
    a IMG_4891.JPG IMG_4888.JPG IMG_4889.JPG IMG_4890.JPG nd my favorite twister from rm80cc mini
it is incredibly silky smooth and the routing does no more than twist the housing lock to lock

    This has me in tears

Back in 1982, I was rebuilding my 1980 CB400T Hawk at a friend's house. We had completely stripped the entire bike down to component atoms, sand and bead blasted everything prior to paint/coating.

I used Kalgard GunKote on the cylinders, and HeaderKote on the exhaust pipes. (Freaking awesome stuff, btw!) Popped the freshly coated cylinder head in the kitchen oven and proceeded to bake it as per instructions. The problem was, as 19 year olds, we didn't even think to consider or realise the stuff would produce that incredibly insane toxic fumes and soul destroying smell until it was too late.

Filled up the entire house like something out of a bad comedy movie.

It was Thanksgiving morning, just before the whole Turkey preparation and large family gathering was supposed to start. Needless to say...

Well, that'll work just fine... although it's possibly not the safest place to mount your coils. You must be getting close to being able to tear up the road. Bring it.

Are you missing an engine bolt?

    Cheers... Paul

yes very close the coils would not fit under the tank the tunnel is too narrow,
i have that bolt, thanks for the heads up, i had pulled it was thinking of fitting bracket to it
basically now it is just a wiring harness i found a schematic fir a very simplified harness
the carbs will have long over flow hoses that the brass nippple underside of bowls
if i have fuel dumping and sparks happening at the coils thats like the perfect storm of fail ..for anybody else, but i am capable of bringing it on a regular basis
    thanks for the support
