Anything real to contribute?
Else switch back to lurker mode.
Not sure what toothpaste you are using but no question should be too stupid to ask, iIn my case I can totally tolerate everything as long as there is some intelligence provided
sh*t, that rules me out
It's Beefeater Steve.
And no, not really. I've been watching / reading this thread for months now, thinking of some way to get this new GS. Begging, borrowing, stealing--nothing has been ruled out.
I make decent money, have 5 kids, no debt, and am looking for a new(er) bike. With anything I buy, I have two rules:
1. Only if I can pay cash money for it.
2. Value is one of three "keys" to buying anything.
Yes, I can pay cash for the new bike, but doing so would crap all over #2 because I don't mind a gently used bike if I can avoid the depreciation.
All of this is a long way to say: I'm getting a 2010 GSA because I love it and the value is good--therefore, I have no reason to keep obsessing over the new bike (or this thread).
Sorry I ruffled feathers, fellas. Ride safely.
Which tire causes the least head shake? :eek1 Oops, I said it.
OK I get it. You could give me any tire by the way, I only ride when the roads are dry.
Loved mine on the dry as well.....recently tried PR3 Trails (GS) were nice too.
On the dutch forum I read about a second canadian recall. This one concerns ASC. No more details so far.
Over here it will probably just be called an update.
That was posted on here around 10 pages ago
Thought that was the oil seal ring. :huh
Nope, that was about 20 pages ago
Too bad. You are missing a good part of pure motorcycling. :)
(esp. when you realize you can ride almost the same when others can't)
I ride even in snow (within reason). I don't do seasonal riding.
Here's some GS porn for you guys.....................
If you're seeing it in person, can you tell me if there's a good place I can mount my flesh light? That's how much I love the new bike.
Still pondering if i should get an aftermarket exhaust. Remus or akra.
The akra looks awesome, and probably sounds epic, but its over £800 in the uk:huh
Indeed, it is on the expensive side. For the regular akra the price is not yet known. See and hear before deciding.
I'll take a Remus please.
It is a bit cheaper, but not sure on the lloks just yet, but a carbon(look) hexacone is a possibility.
Sucks that there will be no Premium plus models at launch for the US bikes (or at least it is unlikely). I guess I will be waiting until April/May when the first non-launch shipments come in.
