Is the modern LED the better light when it comes to visibility?
Haha, in Norway the basic version costs 42000 USD so stop moaning
It should be (from other vehicles I've seen with LED).
This photo is faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from being able to show that (for many reasons).
I can think of one reason. Only the daytime running light is on.
Of course. That's the only valid way of getting to know a bike.
Yep, it's the chrome exhaust.
I'm 5 ft 10. Bar risers are TT.
The new GS. I should have taken it from the other side to show the exhaust, force of habit taking it from the left.
And yet we pay quite a bit more than the british. To the extend some people just buy their beamers in the UK.
Looks great. Waiting impatiently.
I think this is what he meant because he said visibility (so I take it he means during the day). So it is like the photo.
Well I know the problem: You should take at least five photos.
1) From other side.
2) From front.
3) From back.
4) From on-seat.
5) The one you took.
Then you can go wild with angles, with the center stand, with you on and someone else ste... erm... taking photo with your camera etc.
That looks like Thunder Grey, same as RichBMW, right? Nice. I think I am beginning to like the Thunder Grey more tan the Red.
I wonder how it would look with spoke wheels.
I was in Norway last year. All is expensive there
But it seems their wages are up at the same level.
I will be able to tell you in ?? weeks time.
Yes, mine's in thunder grey, the best of the selection I thought. My previous GS I've just traded in was a triple black, the wife can't spot the difference. I thought even she would spot it was a new model, but no, which is a shame as I could have put it in the garage un noticed and saved some bike buying wife credits for later fleet acquisitions.
I originally went with the wire wheels but looking at the bikes at the show preferred the cast wheels as they have a 90 degree air valve on one of the spokes like on my K16, it doesn't sound much but it makes life a lot easier, easier to clean as well.
I'll try and pull it out the garage and take some more pictures later, but it's dull and raining here today.
One neat thing I noticed yesterday was the instantaneous fuel flow reading, at a stand still it gives flow in gallons per hour, and on the move in miles per gallon.
90 years in 90 seconds
(and yes final seconds is new 12GS)
WOW..thanks for posting...tried to spot a few that I have owned...have had my 2012 GS appx 6 months...do you think my wife would notice if a new LC showed up in the garage Mrjon???
I'd say give it a go, and deal with the consequences afterwards, if you get rumbled !
