    I have a theory......
The GS will be a Wasser boxer but the GSA will remain as is for the near future, maybe this is what BMW hinted at when they said the air cooled motor would be around for some time yet.

If this is the case it sorta implies that the new Water Works motor will add weight. As the GSA is already fairly plump the extra weight is most likely not a benefit even with more horses.

I'd like more info as I'm keen to own a GSA , I sorta think that with 130 ponies I'd ditch two bikes and replace with just one.

Good theory other than the pictures of the new bike all have a big tank and spoked wheels. Suggests to me that it's a GSA that they are doing the testing on. Could be the GS is staying aircooled right enough but I would doubt it.

Didn't they come out with the 1150GSA and the 1200GSA one year after the normal ones? I think his theory is founded.

2 different engines in basically the same motorcycle? I don't think so but then, who knows...

If the WasserBoxer adds weight, I'm out. The GS/ GSA line is already on the grande side as it is.

If it adds weight, I'm going orange. And I don't think I'm the only one thinking that way. Dealt with chains before, seems they might be more reliable than some final drives. . . . . :lol3

Jeebs, y'all- as far as weight goes, even if they gained, say 30 pounds, they'd still be under the 1150. I could lib wid dat.

Oh well, another truly ugly GS; I suppose this beast will be magically de-uglified before launch :D

Beauty is all in the eyes of the beholder, I rather prefer the slightly utilitarian style than a plastic enshrouded
luxobarge.I my eyes there's a menacing brutal "beauty" in the GS especially the GSA, if it came in camouflage colours
it'd look quite ok side by side with an Apache helicopter. IMO :D

You're kidding, right? GS are half plastic as it is, take a close look at an R1200GS. And on the 'standard' GS, it's not just ugly, it's horrible design work as well. Looks like three designers in two different countries did the 'work'. I'd be happy if it DID look as nice as an Apache or F-22.

Looks like the video is also showing an RT top rack as well.

German "Motorrad" had a couple more pictures in the lastest magazine showing the right side with the oval muffler.
They wrote that press launch will be most likely in October 2012 and that the RT will be the next boxer motorcycle to inherit the "WasserBoxer" because of the thermal advantages.
