Big name may be added to the roster here next week. Any guesses?
I tried to get Hengeveld to enter but he is still healing up from the 500.
As I understand it she's riding for HRC now (at least I think). If she's in SoCal working out the new machine it would make sense for her to stick around for a little friendly rally while she's in the area. Any one of you jokers down in Southern California got the scoop?
She has been working with JCR after all.
Right now she is working on a World Enduro Championship.- She recently took her thirteenth World Trials Championship.
Edit - Laia just won her 2nd World Enduro Championship.
Mr J. Street ?
Sam Sunderland ?
Has LR talked Danny LaPorte into coming out to play, or has Quinn decided to race against his sister?
Mark Miller? (knows how to ride for sure!)
Laurent Lazard? (Did you know that we supported him in his first Dakar back in 2007?)
Scott Whitney? (Wouldn't it be nice to see the sidecar out there?)
Jacek Czachor and Marek Dabrowski?
I'm looking forward to seeing so many of our former RMS/RPA team members. 16 of the entrants so far have either been to the Dakar with us or come to one of our Rally Schools. Haven't seen some of them in years!
I'll be working the race (GPS track validation and SPOT tracking), and Darren will be busy prepping a car for some diabolical testing before Dakar. So I figure it's gotta be Robby Gordon!
Kelly and I are guessing Laia.
With his factory 450 RR
He seems to have a schedule conflict with ISDE.
Hey! Welcome back Mark!
Well, I'M gonna be there, dammit!
Although, it was dodgy there, for a while:
Seems like Situation Normal for T minus two days
When I talked to him about a week ago, it didn't sound like he could make it to Baja Rally due to a conflict.
Anyone have a vehicle heading to San Diego Sunday, Oct. 6? I'll be supporting John Henson, but I have to leave earlier than desired to catch a late Sunday afternoon flight. Jus' askin' . . . .
I'll be headed back to TJ (home) for sure and crossing the border early the next morning.
I'm thrilled to see this happening after years of talk about it!
Real shame I'm out with injury - I would have liked to be the 1st non American in this event.
