LW, the time and work you put into this is incredible! :clap Thanks!:thumb I lurked, a little late, caught up today. I am very sorry now that I missed the Team Magoo ride as I was not ready...but now I am. And so is my wife tilliejacques, we won't even think about two-upping it! :huh She has her own ride, and by golly, we can do it!

Loved all of the doggie shots! I think we need not ask what Smartek does for work, by his creative flat accounting he must be a CPA! :deal I can't believe you got such good pictures being flung around on the back of that big bike. Good work and thanks for the inspiration!:1drink:clap

After your last epic report I was under the impression you were going to take a year off. I'm glad you caved in and went for another ride. It's always fun reading your reports. You really should send out email alerts to your trips, I hate showing up so late to the festivities.

    Thanks, John!
Yeah, it's a daunting task. Video is even worse.
Matt and I are sorting through a bunch of footage from our weekend ride right now.
    There were 3 GoPros running...:eek1
    Whew. :knary

haha, sorry for the lack of Bean Dogs - but I don't think there are any new videos.
I'm pretty sure you guys saw them all in the Dirty RR. :dunno

    You're welcome, Haywood!
I'm so happy you like "Bartek on a taco!" :lol3
maybe we'll get this thing to catch on, after all!

    hey Sam!
haha, glad to give you some jollies while you're waiting for ID to defrost!
Hope you have some fun stuff planned for the spring :D

Thanks for checking in, satchmo3! Sorry we didn't get to talk to you more.
It sounds like you already know sea of cortez is amazing by sailboat...:evil

    Thanks for reading JM!

Thanks for the pic! Everybody loves the hamburglar :lol3

    Haha, thanks (I think :scratch)!
heh, I'm sure you meant Bat Shit Crazy as a compliment! :deal
Don't worry, I gave it lots of thought while we were laboring through the sand whoops over the weekend...
Thanks for making "like Bartek on a taco" your favorite!

    Lica!!!
Great to hear from you! Hope you're having a fantastic time in SA!
    :freaky

    Aw, thanks Gramp-Z!
Glad you had fun reading along. Yeah, those rocks got pretty crazy. :lol3
No plans for the next ride...not yet, anyway.

    Hi nmtrialsguy!
Thanks for joining us. Hope you and tilliejacques get to Baja soon!
Gotta get down there before it gets too hot! :deal

    Hey Mike!
How did you like that Manamana bit in the cafe?? Isn't it funny they were watching that in El Rosario?
Well, every time I do a ride report, I swear it's going to be the last one...
I'm always surprised when another one spews out...:rofl

    Speaking of which....

I was just going to tack on a mini RR for last weekend's ride,
but it was so fun, I think it deserves a Day Trippin' report...

    So, yeah.
Big Bikes on the Vegas to Reno race course - "the longest off road race in the US."
    Sounds good, eh?
    Scott and his fian
cée had raced their jeep in the V2R last year, and he said it would be a blast on a 950/990.
The guys started talking about it and things started to fall into place.

Except - who would be willing to drive the support vehicle? :hmmmmm

    Poor Scott. :cry
I'm pretty sure this whole Vegas to Reno ride was his idea...
Now, not only did he "get" to host all us dirtbags at his house,
but he "got" to drive the support truck as well.

    Thank you, Goggles! :bow
    You're the best!
    :raabia

Matt is still working on the video (as mentioned, we had 3 GoPros filming :knary),

I'm getting some pics and screen shots together...
I didn't intend to do a real ride report, so I "only" took about 300 pics.
It's going to be a very short RR (only 2 days!), but hopefully it will be
    muy divertido!

We had Goggles Pizano, Smartek...Radek the Canimal came all the way down from British Columbia (!!)
plus a couple new guys you haven't met before...:evil

Here's a little teaser trailer Matt did this morning...

    <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/JXA3Rh-yA9I?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="480" width="853"></iframe>

OK - that was your official heads up! :deal

I'll post back here when I start the report.
Right now the working title is...

"I've Made a Huge Tiny Mistake**": Big Bikes on the Vegas to Reno.

    (**an Arrested Development/Reno reference).

    See you soon!

    Awesome report!!!

    :clap

Swear I saw you two at Halfmoon Bay (seal cove) once, last August. Looked like Big Wan's 990 with that big ADV sticker on the side.

    Keep adventuring!

But, that wasn't us at Halfmoon Bay.
There are quite a few blue 990s floating around out there, I think.

Our bike is usually pretty easy to spot...

    ha! Good one, sion!

Although...from what I've seen online, those Bultacos look a little small for El Smartek...

    Hey guys,

Got an update from Goggles, he's doing well.
Everything is healing nicely and he's feeling good.
    Way to go, Roboscott!

Glad they had the technology... :evil

    Here's the new X-ray.

Glad to see goggles is doing well.

I was out at the D100 today but I didn't see Radek. Ah heck I didn't even spot the three riders I was there to watch. After looking at my pictures when I got home I did see one of the riders I was there to watch so at least I know he started the race. :lol3 That place is a madhouse with a sea of people. I'll have to figure out what Radek was riding, wearing and what number he is so I can see if I got a picture of him. :D

Looks like they dropped a few extra screws in Goggles shoulder.

    Have Fun!
