Not really spectacular, but kinda cool for a Southern boy.

Gulf of St. Lawrence from my tent on Prince Edward Island.

The first post in this thread is the Goose necks, if you go just beyond that, up the Moki Dugway, and take the first left at the top of the hill. It will take you to one of the most beautiful camp spots I have ever been to.... Mully Point. The closest town is Mexican hat, UT.

Maybe it's just me, but that looks like a rockier tent site than I would have chosen! :evil

Near Tosontsengel,Mongolia. It was dark and I needed to sleep. I was in the middle of nowhere. In the morning I woke up to the sound of sheep herders moving their flock into my field.

Living on the east coast and near urban areas all my life has robbed me of a vivid view of the Milky Way. I saw it clearly for the 1st time last Sep in CO/UT/WY. Big Sky Country indeed.

Muley Point two weeks ago in the rain and mud. Did I mention COLD! It was fun watching the rain storms roll over Monument Valley though. :lol3

BLM campground north of Bluff, UT, looking at the sunset on Comb Ridge. Also about two weeks ago. Weather changes fast down there this time of the year. Caging it this time. Hope that's o.k. to post here.
