Strud Nash, the owner of Polar Bear Coolers is THE FUCKING MAN.

Couple years back I bought 3 or 4 of the 12 packs and 24 packs, mostly as gifts and because when I let someone borrow one I usually don't get it back!

Then I see on ADV that hey, the silver ones have these cool D rings so you can strap em down to the bike and still access the top. Well, I want some D rings too, so I call em up and order a pair in silver.

Turns out the new silver ones did not have D rings so they sent me some mossy oak ones that did. Well, I do not want mossy oak so I call em up and ask if there will be any new ones coming in, they were unsure but checked the entire warehouse for any older ones for me.

So I wait patiently with the box with the mossy oak coolers in the closet for nearly a year until I start cleaning the place out again and realize I still had em.

I shoot Strud a message and ask again about the silver ones with D rings, and also offer a suggestion to make the new ones roll top IE like a dry bag. He says that's a great idea and he's back to the drawing board for a new series. Can't wait

Well now I am about to take off to the middle of the desert, so I ask if I can exchange my new, sealed and still in the package mossy oak 24 packs for a single 48 pack.

    Sure, no problem.

Today in the mail I end up getting two 12 packs instead of the single 48.

Someone screwed up in the shipping department, no worries, people make mistakes.

Because of the first mistake Strud even threw in a bunch of ice packs, AWESOME!

But I need to be on the road in a few days, so I shoot Strud an e-mail and ask if there is a place in the NYC area where I can go and buy another 48 pack cooler or if there is a place along I-80 between NYC and Nevada I can stop in to purchase one.

2 minutes later I get a reply from the owner, on a Saturday afternoon no less, with an employee CC'd to the email which stated.

Hey, get Eddie what he needs and make sure it gets to him by Wednesday.

    So, Strud, YOU FUCKING ROCK!!!!!!

And to prove he is truly ADV, check this out.

I also talked a few guys who are coming to the desert with me into picking up a few for themselves. They think they are truly awesome too.

    Did I mention Strud rocks?

Great to hear. Quality product, great customer service, as it should be, yet so rare. Hope they make $$$$$. Love mine, using the hell out of it, outstanding, will buy more and recommend them all the time.

In December there is a 50% off sale every year, they call it a buy one get one free, but the code just takes 50% off your total (for coolers, not for ice packs). The code is 2112, it will be active after Thanksgiving through the new year.

:thumb Sweet. Thanks for the code. Just placed my Black Friday order & saved over fifty bones.
My choices are backordered until late Jan, so won't make it under the tree. :cryNot a deal-killer, though; no camping planned between now & then anyway.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone's raving about!:clap And FWIW, were it not for this forum, I would not have even known about these dynamite coolers....let alone the seasonal deal on them. Thanks fellas!

Gotta give another Thumbs Up for PB Coolers and their customer service :clap .

1st, all the guys I ride with have them and love them. Keep stuff cold forever. We moto-camp a lot and do a lot of camp cooking so the coolers get used all the time. We usually prep stuff ahead of time and then freeze it. Acts like ice packs for the beer and whatever else we carry. We'll pack them Friday AM and usually still need to remember to take stuff out of the cooler a while before cooking on Saturday night because it's still frozen solid. The stuff in my cheapo soft sided cooler was usually warm by then :huh .

2nd, their customer service rocks!. I finally took advantage of their 2 for 1 sale this fall and got a couple of my own. They arrived quickly and were exactly what I wanted. The liners are supposed to be waterproof so you can just dump ice in there instead of dealing with ice packs. Turns out one of mine leaked. E-mailed them first thing the next morning, had a return email by noon and the order for my replacement was being processed that evening. No worries, no hassles!

Ya have to love people who make a great product and back it to the max. I've already turned a couple of my non-riding friends on to them and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody :D .

I was there and found no 2 for 1 deals or hugh discount. I have 2 PB coolers already but thought a custom monogram would be nice.........oh well the deals are over apparently.

The half-price sale last until Dec 20.......add the items to your cart and then go to checkout.....then, punch in the code. The last day for your order to arrive for Christmas is Dec 16........Polar Bear is swamped at the moment.....orders are taking alittle longer to process (understandable)......and most of the silver colors are on back-order until Jan 20. Monograms will delay your delivery by a few days.........

Let's just say alittle birdie told me all this......:lol3
Stay tuned here on ADV after January 1st for great deals on these coolers......a new "distributor" in is town!! :D

No........Polar Bear Discounts typically runs late November to December 20 or so. They will have a small sale or two during the year, but I don't believe the discount is 2 for 1 like it is during The Holidays.
