2000 Husqvarna wr360:
I ride lots of single track here in southwest pa. Haven't done too much to it other than armor it up and swap on a lectron carb.
Power wise it's pretty mellow. Lots of low/mid with almost no "hit". Still, it's a blast to ride and keeps up with newer bikes just fine.
Here's a few of my big two strokers.
1995 KTM 550 MXC - fitted with 4860's, Tassinari cage, Dynoport pipe....lots of fun.
1995 KTM 440 EXC
1994 KTM 440 EXC
1983 Husky 500 XC
At H&H KTM some years ago...
I raced one of these for years in SoCal. I ran the last 3 Barstow to Vegas races on it. That bike taught me throttle control!
That brings back fond memories of the '81 490 I had. The guy I sold it to couldn't kick it. He push started it all the time. That WAS a safe bet though.
plated '94 KTM 440 EXC I had a few years ago... intense when it was on the pipe
There are a few of these for sale pretty cheep here at the moment (and a few 250s), thinking about getting one to play with.
Great looking bikes everyone. I drooled over those Husqvarna 360's back in the late 90's. I met a dude at the St. Anthony sand dunes years back that had one he wanted to sell to me.. Probably a 94-96? It was all white and looked brand new.. Anyway I still kick myself for not buying it I think he only wanted $1200 which seemed like a great deal at the time. They're a pretty rare bike around here it seems.
It's been a long winter already hasn't it?! :eek1
Just out for a ride.
I was gona bust a picture of my 94 440 EXC,,,but your bike Blakebird was the sweetest one I ever saw.
In the North id just leave that really short stroke 440 in 3rd,and could do anything from chatter bog round trees to standing the wheel at will with a throdle brup at speed.
I don't miss left side kick,or try'n to find a expantion chamber for it.
Is that a plated IT465? I just dragged home an IT400 and am elbow deep in it.
Here's mine. 01 Chassis, 03 suspension.
Found a 1974 TS 400 Suzuki in a barn in Lewisville Nebraska. It had been crashed back in the early eighty's and set in the barn with five gallon paint cans stacked on it.
I've restored it runs great. I'd like to post some pictures but don't know how. Someone tell me how and I'll post the whole build.
Yes it is plated It465, I have to have it plated to ride the forest service roads.
I have a 86 YZ490 that is going thru a frame up rebuild......bought it and never even rode it........started tearing it down........cost me a mint so far and I am far from done
(how do i add a pic? )
