Dunlop D616 ?
Spent a bit of time putting this together, hope you enjoy
If anyone is in the market, I am selling my almost new 2012 SMT.
Wow, that is an awesome looking bike. Where or how did you do those carbon exhaust covers. Also, the piece that covers where the windshield bolted to, what is that? The all white looks great with the perfect amount of orange. I'd that paint our is it a decal?
Well done sir
Also How Do You Like Those D616? Considering A Set Of Those For A Trip To Alaska From The States.
Yes I remember, I think it was a picture from your bike that made me buy the alloy sump guard (which I still haven't managed to mount)
Thanks for the offer, I love the south of France, been there a couple of times, twice with my '09 SMT. Unfortunately this year time is limited, so I will only make it to the middle of France, most likely I am heading to the Correze
I had them on my 950SM and absolutely loved them. After I wore out one set I replaced with the same for round 2.
Hey Goodcat!!!! How is the Triumph? Do you miss the SM?
Hope you are doing well!
This one must be pretty fast then...
Fell off this bike at around 75 mph so I did a little touch up on the paint.
Added a Cox rad. guard, axle, foot peg and frame sliders, orange goodies, and I have a Rottweiler intake system coming for it.
Great bike. I like it much better than the 2010 Duc Multi I had before.

They don't make D616's for my Vstrom. Looks like a great tire for supermotos. And Vstroms.
I do miss her. I miss the power, comfort, and styling. Not so much the maintainance and weird stuff going wrong. Still have the Bonnie, but plan on trading up on my vstrom to a tiger, but these damn SMT's and ADV's keep catching my eye....
Thanks!! OK lets go down the line then, The covers are Carbon fiber decal, as with the rest of the bike. All vinyl wrap and layers. That piece was custom, chopped from an SMR I am told. And Lastly the 616's are amazing. I have had them on the track and they are sticky as flypaper, but they also will break free if ya want em to with a little clutch pop. I'm impressed with them, but I am eying a set of the new Q3's
Is The Carbon Decal Vinyl Or 3M? I Think I May Copy Cause It Looks Nice.
Chris How Do You Like The Givi WNdscreen? The Stock One Hit Me Right In The Chin. Im 6 Foot. And Your Bike Turned Out Great! Do You Tour Up In Washington At All?
I like the Givi screen alright. A bit better wind and bug protection than the stock screen. I'm also 6'.
I just did a little run up into WA state today on the SMT. Went from Umatilla to Goldendale on some back road twisties. I don't usually spend too much time in WA cause of all the LEO's you guy's have up there.
Very nice state with great roads though.
If you ever get down here in my country of E. Oregon give me a shout, I'd be happy to show you some GREAT roads down here.
Thanks for the compliment on the bike.
I grew up in Spokane. And yes, fuzz everywhere. Especially north of the Tri cities. I'm all the way up I'm Bellingham. Maybe we could meet up near yakima or something. I just did a sweet ride on the mt loop highway outside of darington. You can google it. Amazing switchbacks and view and not a soul in sight. 75-80 leaning way over. Amazing. My friends and i may head down to oregon as a triall run for alaska. Not sure where we will head though. Also, did you do the rim stickers yourself?
The outer rim stickers were an Ebay thing if I remember right. Not as nice as the inner KTM ones. The KTM ones are much better quality and brighter colored.
That Darington area sounds nice, I haven't been up there.
It is Vinyl, And feel free, thanks for the compliment.
Cool Thanks. I'm Not A Big Fan Of Shiny Metal. Only Shiny Paint.
