Excellent thread folks! I recently purchased a 2008 TW200 thats been modified to fit a 2003 yz250f engine. The build pics for my bike are here http://s1125.photobucket.com/albums/l588/tyzardoz/ . Good to see "fat tire bikes" having such a good following!

    Technical question

While removing the clutch side engine cover I notice an extra hole with a seal for a shaft that comes out behind and below the kickstart shaft. About 1/4" in diameter, threaded end.

I don't have a clue what it is! Any ideas???

    decompression assembly?
I had an xt600 or xl600 that had one. tw200 has a blank hole there, too.

    Hey Mr Bigwheel,

If we got all the bw enthusiast to ask nicely, do you think Christini would make an AWD kit available?

that would be the compression release lever shaft.
it has a lever that pulls the compression release cable when you kick the bike over.

is your motor missing the lever and cable assembly?
if so, I might be persuaded to pull them off my dead motor and send them to you.

Thanks for the gracious offer. It is missing. PM sent

Now I understand, I thought why would a 200cc four stroke have a compression release, second time I kicked it, the kick start output shaft broke:cry

sanjoh , my kick starter was broken off when I bought my BW-200 . I had never torn into a single cyl. 4-stroke befor at all . So I got on the internet and orderd everything I needed , some off of Ebay and some stuff off of www.Babbitsonline.com . The best thing I got was the service manual , it sure helped out . There's alot of stuff out there for these little dudes , you just have to look and keep your eye's open and be ready to jump on it befor it's gone. The motor used on the TW-200 is the same , or they use alot of the same part's anyway. The kick starter was a pretty easy job really. Don;t forget your gasket kit also !

    Rainshadow,

Please accept my apology for allowing your healthy snack selection to go stale. To make amends, I will post the World Premier of the latest installment of Enduro Alaska right here and right now. Fire up the microwave. It's time for some disappointment:

    From the Casper Star-Tribune:

Critics are calling "The Metamucil Militia Mob Moab. And More!" a madcap romp across three climate zones. From the surreal, experimental film-style beginning to the mud-caked finish, the latest from BigWheel Studios will entertain and amaze.

Ladies are particularly sitting up and taking notice. "I love the English Nightmare," sighed a middle-aged junior high English teacher from Heppner Oregon. "So mysterious..he's the James Bond of dirt bikes." She clutched a notebook to her chest, took a deep breath, and shouted, "Knock it off" to a pair of 7th graders kissing by their lockers.

H6llyw66d Madison, with his rakish charm and comedic genius (albeit unintentional), has captured the heart of this single mother of five from Ocala Florida. "I got a real soft spot for the boyish type. Jus' can't seem to say no to 'em." She looked fondly at her mismatched brood. "Yup, the less responsible they are, the better I like 'em."

Cretaceous Cliff has a devoted following among teenage girls at the skate park in Los Olivos, California. "Cliff's, like, my idol," announced a lanky teen, as she loudly chewed her gum. Her friend, sporting a torn Teenage Bottlerocket t-shirt, agreed, "He's like totally sick." She emphasized Cliff's high degree of sickness by jumping on her board and carving up the bowls. Although she did not land her heelflip, the point was clear.

Mr. BigWheel is the beefcake of the video, according to inmates at the women's prison in Lusk, Wyoming. One fan shoved to the front of the crowd at the fence to shout, "You seen them guns when he was workin' on his bike in Moab?" She kissed her own, well-developed biceps for effect. "An' that voice--deep 'n' smooth like chocolate. Mmmmhmmm." A glazed look came over her eyes. As she walked away she mumbled, "Where my bitch. Where you at, Rhonda."

The latest from Enduro Alaska has women at the Spring Wind Assisted Living facility in Minot, North Dakota hoping to see more of the Ancient Ones, preferably with less clothing. And the question on the street: Are Mesozoic Mike and Cretacous Cliff related by blood, or just by time?

You won't want to miss this montage of motorcycles. This critic gives "The Metamucil Militia Mob Moab. And More" a ranking of 47 teeth on the sprocket.

And I thought Mr. Bigwheel did not have enough footage of me crashing the mighty BW for the next premier. It just goes to showcase Mr. Bigwheel's ability to creatively edit his masterpieces to appease the masses. I promise more carnage in the next eddition if I or my BW persevere long enough for the next eddition.

    Cliff.

    Big E,

That write up from the Star Tribune rates at least two "Oh, my's"

And perhaps a Snap In a Circle or two.

That was almost as racy as Rainshadow's double-entendre about "staring at his Milkduds."

    Regards,

    Mr. BigWheel
