So factor in a whole new bunch of spares (and spare motor) along with the 30,000+tax purchase price... gulp!
Holy Moly! - that is one HUGE fuel-tank by the look of it!!!
I was kinda hoping to see the bikes in the background
Having said that I kinda like the way it covers the exhaust. Very neat for a sm
looks like a lot of parts from the KTM 690, frame, swingarm ,motor ,radiator, with new bodywork
Bit of a write up here;
a bit of a teaser to buy the mag.... The local dealer said that he was expecting them in early Jan. Will be interesting to see....
...and its interesting that the new 450rr has a linkage as opposed to the pds on the enduros.
The 701 is a...
Is it really a prototype if most of the parts we see are already on a bike that has been in dealers for a long time?
The TM looks real sexy and anorexic just like the ladies that troll Milan during fashion week. Have we ever seen a finished TM at this show? Those pipes will make it super easy to wheelie I am sure.
The KTM customer graphics kit has to be the worst piece of design to ever come out Mattighofen. On a 30K bike?! I know it will be the first thing to go on all customer bikes but seriously this is the best they could do? Seriously?
The beta looks lovely, although a little overweight in comparison to other offerings.
On another note, anyone know who ended up with the bordone protos?
In the latest issue of Transmoto they mention that Husky will not have a factory team at the 2014 Dakar, I wonder if that means they'll be there in 2015?
I believe the old 450RR had a linkage also.
Not sure why but to me this looks great. Loving the bikes with the exposed aluminum frames. Slick looking bike
No idea what happened to them (frames back to Fernando Prades and engines to TM?), but PKL are their natural evolution
It changes the power curve and increases torque ,
So is Honda actually selling these crf450 rally 'race machines' now they have announced it with their other 2014 models ?
Perfectly love it. Best KTM styling ever.
any guesses on the dry weight for the 450 RR .
I guess 3-4 lighter than last model !
You know the factory tested twin pipes on the new 450 KTM but the riders said it made too much torque :huh[/QUOTE]
ever heard that complaint before ???
That is a shame. I would've thought an asset recovery auction or something similar would have taken place.
The PKL looks pretty well sorted though.
For sure as Prades mainly designed both Bordone and Pkl
Some more info about Manuel new team (googled translation, sorry!)

Nice to hear about a new "rally kit" for latest generation WR
Yeah but that rear filler cap will get in the way of luggage, just like on the 690
Yeah....because everyone wants to 'Rally' one of these!
Looks like a plastic toy! uke
Wow, I didn't think it was possible to make a GSA look heavier but trust TT to succeed.
