That's sort of what I was thinking, and I'm looking to buy one. I've got an acquaintance with one that he bought new and has basically never ridden. The bike has 75 miles on it, and he just spent $2k having the dealer sort out the fuel system from non-use. I'm guessing it needed fuel pump, filters, fuel lines and complete servicing. I'm trying to talk him into selling it, and I'll pay him top of the market for the bike, but I'm planning on riding it and my preference would be to find something local that has some miles that I wouldn't be paying the "new bike" premium for. That being said, if he'd sell the bike today I'm sure I'd take it. I've been tracking HP2 Sport prices, and they've definitely bumped over the past six months, so I'd expect the same of MM's.
