Yes, HPSaucy is completely right :clap

If HPSaucy could perhaps do a matrix with his infos
    example :

.....................| initial | act. value | weight lbs | weight Kg| Style of riding
    Front Comp.....|-10.... | -05......... | 198.........| 90 .........| sporty but
    Front Rebound |-10 ....| -13......... |.............. |..............| non brutal.
    Rear Comp..... |-12.... | -07......... |
    Rear Rebound. |-19.... | -18......... |
    Rear Spring.... | x ......| -1 lap...... |

etc, sorted by Pilot weight no ?

    New to thread,
Will be getting my first BMW and back on two wheel in close to ten years in about two weeks but these the winter to wait out!! Grumble!!

Been reading you back and forth about setting up suspension and well I've got a lot to learn. I'll be playing ketch up for some time...
I find these debates interesting and helpful. Thank you!!

Questions: 1:Do you think it would be reasonable to ask dealer to reset suspension to the defaults you guys have been talking about before they ship it?

2:Can any one tell me if those 08 Hyper Bars, Mirrors Handguards and Turn Signals from Ducati can be fitted to the Megamoto?

    Thanks

Thats a good idea, I used to keep charts for the cars, that listed everything, and was our set up bible at the track, because we could return to every setting, and know its feel and lap time.

I'll try to figure something out and pop in up in the new few days

All suspension settings set back to standard, on high ride height. Now got to wait for the cold spell to finish, then hope for lots of rain (to wash the salt away) before I road test. Cant wait. Hope its before March 2011 !!!!

@ marczuri; i'm pretty sure that this is possible, but i guess there will be some work ahead and i can not be surtain if this will work with the canbus system of the bmw.

but second, why would you want to do that. turning signal system of bmw is different then others but so simple and easy to use iso that small ducati button and second why those really stXXXid flappy mirrors extending your steering bar almost 1 meter so you can not pas other vehicles anymore. that i do not get:D

Due to the annoying laws they've passed here in CA trying to make trouble for bikers I am keeping my stock system incase I have to do a law enforcement replace at some point.

if i'm correct the s1000rr uses the regular ducati/japanese like turning signal. i can understand if you like to change that part; the easy way to go is to go to the dealer and ask if the can replace the bmw mm system for the ducati/japanese/s1000rr system .

for the mirrors with the integrated turnsignals on the outher side of the bar, well that will be a lot of work i guess. but i know a few who converted there ducati hyper with regular mirrors and turning signals, so maybe you could try the bmw mirrors for a while before decide to make the change.

Look what the truck dumped off last week to keep my MM company!

2009 model with 724 miles on the clock. The price was right!

If I could post a FRIGGIN PHOTO, you'd see a HP2 Sport parked along side the MM!

I'm trying to post a 64k photo, and it says I've exceeded my quota by like 200+kb. I deleted 16 out of 20 other photos I had posted. Geeze!

So I went to fill my MM up for the 1st time with the light on and the countdown mileage @ 12 to go. Only could get in 2.7 gallons. I did as many have suggested and drilled the filler neck about 3/4 in from the top. I am wondering if most people fill their tanks to the drilled holes? I did not do that, just filled to the normal level. If you do fill to the holes, does fuel come out the vent?

Keep filling to the holes, there is alot more room there. As long as you are riding the bike for a few miles after, you will have no problem with fuel venting out, but I wouldn't fill up then park it. Especially if it will be in the sun or a warm place.
