I appreciate you letting me know.
I would like to enter a plea of guilty to the crime of 'boy drool'. I came for the ride report, I was trapped by the eyes.
DP, You have a fantastic ride report all the time, I love to see Your trips, gonna have to send You some from today the Rattlesnake Saloon located in a cave in northern Alabama..350 miles for a cheeseburger, and it was excellent.. I think You would like it..
Frankly I like that fact that she is a tiger 1050 rider like me. Its somewhat of a rare bike in a sea of BMW 1200 GS's
I thought the camel was nice
+1 You are so right! Not enough Tiger riders.
TDP....your loyal readers look forward to your continued colorful adventures!

Super Tenere Test Ride? How was it?
Was very interesting…..
Also got a nice visit today from another ADV'er on a 1200 GS from WA/AK…..
How'd you swing the ride on the Super Tenere? Thought they were special order only.
Friends in low places.
Non stop rain and work = no riding.
Today was almost all sun and play.
I woke up with all the normal intentions however..
Coffee, emails, invoices, Work……..wait, Is that SUN outside??
And what ?
An Adv'er on his way through will be in town at 11?
I may get to ride the super tenere?
Well, Let's roll……
The bike line up…….
in reverse alphabetical order..
Overcast but still nice..
The overkill cast…….
Hmmmm friend or foe??
I'm being 'artsy' as someone put it……
The 2012 Super Tenererererere..
The wannabe rider…..
The other wannabe rider…..
I'm about to take a picture of the camera shooting at me here….
Was trying to be serious,
But got a mad case of the church giggles instead
Not a bad day.
Not a bad bike….
I'll elaborate in a bit..
I told you running around doing wheelies would get you in trouble over there.
A big thanks to G&B Motorsports here in Petaluma for throwing caution to the wind and letting me ride the 2012 Super Tenere!
Now, if I could only figure out where the kick start is
Does it come in BLACK ?
How does it compare with your current #1 ?
Looks like it wants to be a Tiger but hasn't got the style... (It lacks the lines!)...
Great pix. I'm interested to hear how the Tenere "feels", weight-wise, when you're on it. I think it's listed as heavier than the Tiger, but I wonder how it seems when you're riding it.
I've tested the Tiger, and hope to grab a ride on the Tenere at some point.
i'd love to know the same....i think replacing the exhaust might save a significant amount of weight...WOW THAT THING IS BIG!
(a break from all the boy drool at the very least )
I found this bike, the Yamaha, VERY easy to ride.
Felt 'light' to me even though it def has the wt to it.
Not as smooth as the triple, because well, it's not a triple.....
