Contrary to popular belief you have to be pretty farkinig fast to actually need Pilot Powers or Pures, even on bigger power bikes, and even then the profile is more the advatage vice raw traction.

I've tracked Road 2cts (the ones in the photo) on my Speed Triple a couple times without issue, I usually ride in the middle or better of the intermediate group at trackdays.

    Let's not.
    Take the equipment debates elsewhere.
    Thanks.

    Thanks!
Looks hot, but was down to the mid 30's at night.

I lurked around in the AM's over the coffee waiting for it to warm up to at least 50f before heading out.
Getting fussy(er) in my old age you know :lol3

Decided to roll home through South Lake Tahoe which put me over the Monitor Pass.
    Another wonderful scenic ride.
Not too many pics from here to home as I startred to get pretty tired and decided best to focus on the riding V the picture taking..
    However...

Just outside of Tahoe I could see the area was going to be in for a colorful sunset...

I thought I'd stop in Placerville for a quick cup of coffee to aid the remaining few hours on the bike.....
Sadly, the speed at which I recieved my drink made me miss most of the sunset,
but, I did get three unusual shots of my caffeine captor....

    And that's it folks.
A pretty nice few days away from life.

Happy Thanksgiving TDP. Atleast they boxed you in with a couple Harleys, last time I can remember getting boxed in like that it was a couple rather upset local officers with 3 state troopers for backup.

Love the thread, excellent pictures. Ride safe.

observations and pics as always, DP!

The Iphone do impressing pics, for sure...ordinary cams are soon down the garbidge can.
Replacing the battery is a PIA on Iphones, so still a good HTC is my choice, but ...

    Happy Thanksgiving Peach.

I found the three Starbuck pictures interesting. I just did something similiar with my Lumix TS1 and my iPhone with very similiar results. I was disappointed to find my phone was taking better photos. I had the Lumix on the auto setting and perhaps if I use my setting more I would get better results. I'll still use my Lumix for photos on the fly, in bad weather and especially when I'm off pavement but I can see where my phone is going to get a lot more use than I originally thought it would. At least now I feel better about the money I'm spending on that new toy :lol3

Even with all that my pictures sure don't turn out near as nice as yours. I enjoy your creativity and the humor you insert in your shots and appreciate you taking the time to share your adventures and parts of your life with us. :thumb
