It was a beautiful sunny day in Eastern Newfoundland, and we had the largest turn out of RTR dualsport riders we've seen to date.

We all rode a technical loop woods trail in the Torbay area. There were three KLRs, four DRZs, a KLX400, a WR450, a KTM 640A, a KLX250, and a Sherpa 250, along for the ride.

Despite Paul having a completely bald back tire on his 2008 KLR, and some of the guys not having had too much off road experience, all went well, with just three or four minor get-offs along the route. Everyone seemed to have fun, and we all ended up with wet feet to prove it.

I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon, than among friends and riding some gnarley local trails.

Here's some photos from our ride...

Nice. I've been up as far as Nova Scotia.
Maybe someday I'll make it to Newfoundland.

That almost looks like some places in Colorado from those shots. Neat looking terrain.

Interesting that you should say so...

I'm always amazed how much the terrain in many of the Colorado off road ride reports I see on here, looks like my neck of the woods.

    Thanks, Robbie...

My V-Strom was a new toy, last year, so the DRZ ended up feeling a little bit neglected.

I figured I'd make it up to her, this year.
