I see a few skid plates for under $100. Procycle and Kientec each sell one. Are these items quality items or should I spring for the more expensive ones available? Pros and cons for ones that are available.

It's kinda like a breaker-bar for the axle wrench.

I believe that's a large white decal on the headlight cowl. I put a Acerbis headlight on my KLX and it came with a big white decal that looks just like the above pic.

Correct. It was stock on the 2007 DR. Should be able to order it.
    :freaky

Edit: Looks like it's on the 06 as well -- and maybe some other years too

Yeah... I'll paint it myself - I'm not paying $40 for a piece of tape

Or if anyone has one that they havent used, I'll take that. I'll give you a fair price

Yea... Literally just broke off. It was the strangest thing, I wasn't even touching it, it just fell. I think the previous owner might have glued it. It seems to have some residue on it.

So my bike is an hour away and I am trying to buy some clear hose on amazon that will fit on the bleeder valve but I don't know what diameter hose will fit on the caliper... Does no one know or can measure?

So I stupidly thought I could do the NSU screws without mishap, but of course I was wrong. I am in the process of putting things back together, and realize that I don't know how tight the bolt that holds the basket on should be. Should there be any freeplay when pushing the basket back and forth on the shaft? If so how much? Thanks.
