Just rode the duffy friday may 10,and it is in great condition.
The Duffy is always such a scenic ride. I haven't used it for a few years now, I heard there was a bunch of improvements and new asphalt???
I wouldn't want it to get to be too popular, nice the way it is!!
A few corners have been straightened, bridges made wider/replaced and pavement has less tar snakes.
After May long weekend, lots of tourists renting campers going up the Duffy will slow you down; and the descent into Pemberton by same will entertain with the sights and smells of burning brakes!:eek1
the duffy is really good but was cold, the highline through Seton Portage and Shalath and over Mission pass is all good too, Rode the west harrision last week too, Easy peasy
Just got word the Hurley is now open too(finished pushing snow yesterday)
Beer stops are: goldbridge hotel, Bralorne pub(great food), Tyax lodge on Tyahgton lake, Seton pub and restarant( tuesday all ya can eat dinner, new owners) of course lilloette has a few stops to be had...
Big bar ferry is currently asleep as the fraser is humping big-time...
fountain valley was nice too...
I'm envious of you folks that live up there
What you described is some of my favorite big DS riding spots in North America.
