After a brief hiatus, having sold my '07 in '08, I'm returning to the fold with an '08.
    My previous anthracite love sold to XR6moto: <a href="http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/filgen19/2007%20KTM%20Super%20Duke/?action=view&current=2007KTM990SuperDuke017.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/filgen19/2007%20KTM%20Super%20Duke/2007KTM990SuperDuke017.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>

    And new one on the way: <a href="http://s57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/filgen19/2008%20KTM%20990%20Super%20Duke/?action=view&current=e94dd844.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g216/filgen19/2008%20KTM%20990%20Super%20Duke/e94dd844.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos" /></a>

That anthracite SD of Ravens is what drew me into SD ownership. I half heartedly tried to sell mine over the winter with no takers. Not the best time to sell of course. I don't see it going on the auction block anytime soon. Just purchased a Cox Radiator guard and have a set of Pilot 2CTs to get mounted. I see some moving on Ebay for a well deserved price. There is not anything quite like an SD.

Not sure where you are located but I mount my own tires on a No Mar machine. If in the NYC area hit me up and we can get those mounted for you. Same for Rayvn or any other SDer...

I'd rather hear it in person - perhaps when you get out of Brooklyn. :clap

    Great setup, Yellow Pig:clap

Who makes the auxilary lights, and mounts? Did you wire in to the accessory port in the headlight mask?

    LED Dimmer: Skene Designs M-170

Allows you to connect the LED lights to the Hi?lo switch and run the LED at 20-30% power for low beam and 100% power w/ the high beam. Also has a flash to pass mode that pulses the LEDs in a sort of SOS pattern for 3 seconds.

Hope to be joining the SD-R ranks next month, finally ruled out the Aprilia or Ducati...much like I did a Maico back in the 70 & 80's. Looked and looked at Maicos for years, but could just not bring myself to buy one, chose Husqvarna & KTMs instead...must be a reason.

Just got my new 990 SD!! Love it!

Arriving home on this sweeeeet bike....wife took this shot as I pulled up because she "heard" me coming. I love the growl!

WOW!!! Best bike I have owned! Maybe cuz it's new (to me), but I absolutely love it. Lots of power and actually really comfortable. It's a 2008 with 5500 miles on it. It looks BRAND new. I cannot believe what great shape it's in. I had to have it when I saw it. My other favorite that I was looking at was a K1200R. It wasn't in nearly the shape this one is. and it was a 2006 for the same price. Plus I just got rid of a BMW and was looking for something a little different.
