I have a Sig light of some sort on my M&P 45 that has a light, strobe light, and laser on it. Has been on the gun for close to 10,000 rounds and have never had a problem with it but the battery life is not that good. On the other hand it is the brightest light I have ever owned. Shines the farthest, too.

    Time for another handgun :)

Anyone have one? What do you think?
I plan on using it for Paper, Steel, and maybe the occasional critter.

I've got $500 in Bass Pro Shops gift cards coming and so I'm limited to what they sell and I'd like to keep it under $600. I've got a Delta Elite 10mm and Beretta Neos .22. I'm feel the need for a 9mm.

A full size XD 9 is my next choice, but I think my next purchase will be an XD in .40.

Can't go wrong - I have one i bought the day i turned 21 (i'm 44 now) and it's been one of the best guns i've every owned. top port eject is very nice and can't think of the last time i had a jam/misfire. Plus you can't beat a lifetime warranty. Throw a nice set of grips on and good to go.

Whoops. Bought another one today. :lol3 And this time, I might be in a bit of trouble over it. Ya see, I was sitting there, being a good boy when I felt my phone vibrate. I instinctively pulled it out of my pocket to see what it was, and it was an email on my gun account(I guess having a separate email account just for gun stuff might be the first clue you have a problem....).
Click on the new mail button, and see it's a notification that a gun is back in stock. Click on the link, and see the gun listed as available, add to cart for price. Well, of course I had to add to cart to see the price, and once I saw it, I couldn't pass it up. A couple more clicks, order sent, all done. Phone slides back in the pocket with no one even noticing. :D
Why the problem? I didn't pull this off in a meeting. Heck, I wasn't even at work. I was sitting in church for a funeral. I'm going to hell. :dog

I never said she was giving me grief over wanting to buy another gun, she was just pointing out that the gun I wanted was already in the safe. If I had been saying I wanted to buy a second 500, she would have been fine with that. I certainly catch more grief for selling them than buying them from her. When I told her my predicament over trying to list the STI's, she asked why I would do such a stupid thing anyway. So, they are back in the safe. :1drink

Very nice STI's! Very good guns indeed. I would sell a few 9's before I sold these!

Is it just me or does the shooting range seem alot busier than usual lately?

Took the Model 99 out to the range for a bit of a tune-up, and the place was packed..especially the pistol ranges.

A sign of the economy picking up. People have more discretionary income to spend.

The pistol range I go to usually have a pretty good wait for a lane unless you go real early.
15 years ago the same place was maybe half full anytime I wanted to shoot.

Also seeing a lot more women there...
