IDK, I use it on the 955TS and Glock. It works well on both.

I prefer a separate light because it's more versatile and I can hold it away from my body. I'd rather use it to blind someone and then use the lasergrips to take center of mass shots. Holster choice is also really limited for weapon mounted lights. I carry a Surefire C3 with a Cree LED conversion.

I can't imagine carrying an SP01, it weighs a ton. They do very well in IDPA though.

Where did you get your C3 conversion? I have a C3, and I've done some limited Googling about converting it, but then I saw how people bore them out for larger batteries and my eyes glazed over. :rofl

So where are you going to hold it so that it doesn't have something vital behind it?

I'd rather have it on the pistol itself so I can maintain a steady two handed grip and I can just flip it on and off as needed.

Who's got one? Local shop has 2 older ones for sale. They're marked as Magnums. Just wondering how they'll cycle standard target loads. If I'm just knocking down clays or a pheasant on occasion should I look for the 2 3/4" chamber? Thanks in advance.

I just bought a couple the other day. Wife wanted a revolver so we went shopping.

    Clockwise starting with the CZ SP-01 9mm, Sig Sauer P220 .45, S&W 642 .38, and the Sig p238 .380.

Just bought the p220 and the 642. Wife loves the S&W. It has a laser on it and its less confusing to her then the p238. I'll start carrying the little Sig now. I thought my CZ was the best shooting and accurate gun i've ever shot until the p220. Hardly kicks and out of the first 8 shots, 7 were in the red from 15 yards. Love that gun.

My experience with my own CZ and Sig are exactly the same. About a year ago I bought a CZ-75 Compact, and was amazed at how well it shot. A few months later I bought a police trade-in Sig P220 & it has quickly become my favorite automatic...soft shooting, dead reliable & shoots <4" groups to point of aim at 25 yds. with just about anything I feed it. Great weapon.

You can hold it out from your body. Ive seen that taught for years. I hold mine under the strong/firearm hand.

Kind of an odd happening, but UPS sent me a scope. For no reason.

    Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 mildot

    http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell-elite-10x40-mildot-target-turrets-argon-fixed-riflescope.html

Package was addressed to me, from 'Corporate Overgoods' (googled it, turns out to be UPS' damage/loss division).
I didn't order this thing, but it showed up at my house, with my name on it and in a crappy box.

I wouldn't order a fixed power 10x scope... but hey, it was free.
Already got my 1" rings ordered and going to slap it on the 300 BLK build.

Anyone else have this happen or an explanation for this? Good karma?

Anyone know a good source for Colt parts for a New Fronter SAA 357? I was cleaning the pistol and a part fell out :eek1 Stripped it down and found the "bolt", the part which retains the cylinder from spinning after it cycles, is broken. Looks like pure metal fatigue stress crack. WWW.coltmfg does not have it as a part they sell. So I am open to suggestions in the US of others who might have that part. :ear

Numrich, Midway USA, Brownells... do a search for "gun parts" and you will find a passle of options. Trust me, parts for Colt SAA's are readily available.

I shipped a custom rifle to a customer in NM. Double boxed and a custom alum box.
First it was "left by the shed"
    Then never delivered and lost.
    Then in Corporate Overgoods.
That's when the real fun started..3 weeks later it shows up with no box and every bit of foam ripped up and shredded, like they were looking for something. Customer was sure I was in on it :huh
Not sure what Corporate Overgoods does in NM..but I thing drug "seizure" and sampling might be part of it. :jose

If the target can still see, then you used the wrong light. If you are walking around with the light on the whole time, then you are using the wrong tactics. So either way, it is not an aiming point for the badguy.
