I'm presently working on a '56 Lodola 175 OHC just like this one, and I need a replacement camshaft. Has anyone got any suggestions of somewhere perhaps in the US or GB that has an interest in Lodolas. I have sent email to a couple of places in Italy without success and while there are a few bits on Ebay I've been looking for a while and no camshafts have turned up. Any suggestions ?
    Cheers,
    Nitram

There are cam manufacturing places that will metal spray your lobes or bearing surfaces and regrind them to original.
Shops that estore ancient automobiles frequently offer that service.
That is a very nice machine- makes me envious.

I redid this one long time ago and once finished...hated it!!
Kind of a typical Italian single: not enough torque, have to be revved to go anywhere... and then the kick on the left (like if it was a breeze to start already!!).
A close contender with the HD 350 SS (had one too) in the too cool department... But not to own!!

This Christmas I was given to me as a gift from my brother..... a 1966 Ducati 250 Scrambler... its a basket case,,, but she will live again.
Does anyone have any input to where the best supplier for parts are here in the states... Ive been all over the web and have found various places but they are all overseas..
Any input would be greatly appreciated.. cant wait to dive into this project.

Why limit yourself to the states? Some of the best suppliers I've used over the years have been in Australia, England, Germany, etc.

In the States I've used Syd's Cycles, Bevel Heaven, Moto Guzzino, and at least one other place I'm forgetting now. Some of it depends on what you're looking for specifically. Are you restoring it, or simply rebuilding it? As in, do you need "correct" parts or stuff that will get it rideable again?
