the jolly boys i refer to are the http://www.mtridersclub.co.uk/.:clap
The plan...40 riders from all over the uk ride to n.wales then go off-roading. riding in the wilds using local members as guides.
    3rd-5th sept.
the bikes are HD MT350 AND ARMSTRONG MT500[harley bought out armstrong].these bikes are ex british army tough, rugged, slow but so much fun.
my own trip started badly,i was riding up to wales with 3 guys who were local to me so i headed over to steves house. pulling up outside i misjudge the slope/loaded bike situation and over she goes i move very fast to get out the way and the only damage is that the rear indicator gets smashed luckily steves comes to the rescue with glue and gaffer tape....sorted
11.30 we are ready to roll, myself[dave]steve richard and pete hit the road wales here we come:D

so after approx 1 1/2 hours at 70mph we are on the welsh border.
we stop at a "little chef" and fill our bellies.
the plan from here is to take the scenic route to llanbedr-y-cennin
this takes about 3 hours as we get lost a few times, this of course matters not as we are`nt in a rush and we get to ride more and see more.
    finally we arrive..

this is daves[local mt rider] house who kindly offers his house and garden to all who want to camp there, myself and pete camp here. steve and richard have a hotel up the road.
as this is my first camping trip in 25 years im not sure what to expect[i like my creature comforts].
so we roll around back and park up....
