After topping off the thirsty steed we headed back up the canyon to Logan Pass and then down to Bear Lake.

Back from another PNW recon mission with my wife in the cage. (hm. I hope that doesn't get quoted out of context)
One can get tired of motels. Very, very pretty. But I did notice that the only empty land is government land. If it's in private hands, it's developed. Not like the Big Empty of Nevada and Wyoming.

Sure enjoyed "the rest of the story" by Mr. IH his own self. Evidence of territory yet to be investigated in his pictures and the exploring in the PNW. There are a whole gruntload of roads out there waiting to be examined.

Starting to think of next year having seen the amount of snow in the mountains. Damn short riding season if you ask me. But to put a bug in yer ear, take a gander at this: 38° 4'27.07"N 110°48'45.48"W There's an abandoned school bus!!! And a campground here: 38° 4'21.50"N 110°50'53.59"W Zoom out and marvel at how far from anywhere it is. Looks to me like the makings of one of them there adventure things.

Did ok on chow but 3 nights on Ocean Shores watching the water splash around. All romantic and everything. Magic. Sorta like dead flars. And a grin.

Crossing Idaho on 20 on Sunday looked to be 6500 ft snow level. Upper slopes look like they got feet of the stuff.

Well thank you, but actually this whole thread is supervised occupational therapy by beautiful Dr. Malinkova and those nice young men in their clean white coats which must be completed prior to my release to society at large. Something about displaced aggression.
