Out here in the boon tulies we get our internet via satellite. If you would like I could tuck my dish under my arm and run it over to ya.
Looking forward to reading all of mobius 8. Did You get a chance to try Lisa's bear tactics?

Funny thing JD. I was reading an article in backpacker magazine about bear encounters and there seems to be support for her technique.:D

    Dr. Rock and LDF,

It was really great to visit with you. I love that we've known you on both coasts, and that we were finally able to be a part of your Mobius Trip.

Here are some shots of our visit:

Ever wonder what happens when two gear-geeks get together? Dr. Rock and Questor discussing all the fine points of good gear. This segment is gloves.

    (It's a long conversation.)

Next topic? Kermit Chairs (complete with in-kitchen demonstration)

Ever wonder what happens when four ADVriders get together for breakfast? Everyone at the table whips out their cameras to take food pics.

3 KTMs + 3 Suzis = one nicely full garage

Questor takes the opportunity to break out his new toy, the pressure washer!

Doc , where are you ? Did you get burnt out ? Your minions are waiting for your pics and stories ! If it wouldn't be too much trouble , give us a teaser . Hope this doesn't turn into a "And the radio played" NYC !

Heh... next sleeping bag for LDF.

    Nomenclature:

Cure your fear of bears by pretending you are the mighty hunter and have slayed the terrifying bear. Then strut around the room wearing the huge bearskin to show off your prowess. OR take the sleeping bag camping and you can scare the be-jezuz out of your friends when they wake up next to you.

Belated response to lubing an O ring chain: Get the oil into that tiny space between the end of the roller and the side plate. Oil will go in there, to the pin and work it's way up inside the plates, but the O ring will stop it from coming out. I know this works, because when my chain is dry and kinky - OK, there's a straight line to play with - that cures it, and it takes some time to dry out and get kinky again. I get well over 10,000 on chains, even in the dirt.
PS: Love that bear bag! :D

Oh that's funny. Think I'll order one for the September leg of our trip to ward off the Wyoming and Montana grizzlies.

I had hoped to be well into the ride report by now, and instead I'm still working on photos. :dunno Please accept this holiday card as a little preview, :evil, and know that there will be some M8 photos and video coming to a ride report near you between now and the new year. :freaky
