Congrats on participating in your 4th rally!! what a great achievement! No back brake, no problem!!
Here's a tip for the next one: Grab a Monster energy drink with Valentino Rossi colors and number.. it'll make you a much better rider! I tried it this past summer and my riding has greatly improved.

Marc Fontan, The man who puts it all together
My room mate. Christian. He hales from a remote part of the Pyrenees. His accent was so strong I could only make out about a quarter of what he was ever saying. From what I managed to piece together, he had fallen asleep (while riding) during the marathon, crashed and never found the roadbook that had flown into the night woods. He still managed to finish.
You say you'd like a turbocharged T-Max scooter, the man in white can build one for you.
If I told you this guy has ridden the Moto-Tour 3 times on this bike would you believe it? It's true! Check out that Harley headlight, woo hoo.
Tired but they made it to the end.
The next chapter is: How the hell do I get my Ducati home from Nice?
I decided I was probably going to need at least three days to find a way. So I rented an apartment since I was also going to meet my better half in Nice too.
As is so often the case in France (and Italy too) the In Person Connection is what gets things done. You may recall I got nowhere trying to organize finding a way to crate this from New York.
At the awards I struck up a conversation with the owner of the local Ducati dealership. "OK, come by on Tuesday we'll see what we can do". And just like that problem solved!
Can't thank them enough.
I won't bore you with all the trials and tribulations I endured with the freight people. Suffice it to say I'd park it in a lake before I go through that again! So if you're contemplating a similar folly, PM me for the details
Here it is boys....I know you'll find a way to get it to fit, umm, where do I catch the bus? Raining, Ooh, that umbrella with the carbon fiber shaft, I think I'll need one of those now.
Hey, it's back
Pay up or shut up. Oh, use of that loading ramp costs, $50 .... cash
Polaski Skyway. In the shadow of one of the wonders of New Jersey.
I don't have access to the pictures of your last two posts. Strange, because I have access to all the others.

But wait, there's more... On the last night of the rally the foxy bartender in the dinner tent revealed some unexpected talents.

More scenes from the amazing roads above Nice. Long and flowing for 9 min.
So who wants to go? Looks like a piece of cake compared to last year
The man who inspired me to all this craziness is at it again.
The two part videos, for the non-french speaking folks it start out by poking fun at the whole "hipster" thing. He goes onto demonstrate the difference between first timer's approach vs. hard core
Here's a video that has 5 years of high's & Lows. This year was the last one. For them & for me too!
